I thought he was innocent. A guilty man would have looked at the earthquake and his escape as divine providence and disappeared, never to be seen again. He would have not gone around finding other escapees to turn in to the authorities.
That’s a good point, Anita. I leaned towards him being innocent but still needed to be convinced.
I was fairly certain he was innocent, especially when he called in second book, coming out of unconsciousness in the snow, and having been shot....
