Ashlyn Forge (ashlynforge) | 22 comments But now there are TWO Chrysalis And King series, one that has the 'and' and one with 'And' instead... can I keep just the 'And' one only??

message 5: by Gaia (new)

Gaia | 125 comments That's what I am seeing right now. Someone else was working on it while I was creating the 'And'. Don't worry, I¡ll fix it and let you know whwn it's done

Gaia | 125 comments Hi Ashlyn,

The series is created as you requested. The "Chrysalis Queen Quartet series" no longer has your books on it (I was not the one to do that, but it's done).

Now I see the covers have been uploaded (by you, I suppose). According to that, the series should be:

Caterpillar - book #0.5
Chrysalis - book #1-2
King - book #3

As
- Carterpillar is a short story and can not be listed as a primary work
- Chrysalis includes book 1 and 2 in the series and is a primary work
- King is (will be) also a full length book (= primary work).

Please confirm so I can fix it properly to meet Goodreads policies.

G.

Gaia | 125 comments Hi again, Ashlyn

I'm going to proceed to fix it all up to Goodreads policies. If when you read this you don't agree with something, please let me know and I'd be glad to modify whatever needed.

G.

What does it mean for a never-published book to have books 1&2?

message 9: by Gaia (new)

Gaia | 125 comments Looking at the cover, it seems it's like two books in one publishing (like two parts or stories put together under Chrysalis). That's is what can be read by enlarging the cover:

message 10: by Ashlyn (new)

Ashlyn Forge (ashlynforge) | 22 comments actually! you know what, leave it as is with 0.5! Because I do expand the first book in the second book anyway, so maybe it'd be less confusing!!

Gaia | 125 comments You're welcome Ashlyn.

As you deleted the message with the explanation (former #10), let's put it all here so rivka can have a better view to provide her assistance...

Carterpillar is a short story which you wanted it to be book 1 and now you agree for it to be book 0.5

Chrysalis is book I and II (as shown in the cover) because it includes an extended version of Carterpillar (as book 1) and a new full length book (as book 2)

King (book 3) will be a full length book

Did I get it ok?

Ashlyn Forge (ashlynforge) | 22 comments yes, you did! thank you!

Well, you can leave it as books 1&2, but I suspect readers may find it confusing. A note in the series description might be in order.
