Nassy (nassynas) | 11 comments hi yall,
ive been trying to remember the name of a book i read a long time ago maybe 8-10 years ago its what actually got me hooked on romance novels, im a little sketchy on the details but i remember it was about this girl who owned a lingerie shop called leather and lace i think, she lived in a duplex which the hero inherits and tries to force her out of but they end up falling in love. sound familiar to anyone? such a great book,

Is this set in the U.S., England, Australia, somewhere else? Was this a Harlequin or Silhouette, or just generic romance?

Sarah's suggestion of Teaching Elena by Maggie Casper seems to match your description.

Quickly scanning Amazon's preview, Elena's lingerie shop is called "Leather and Lace". She mistakes her millionaire landlord for a prospective employee.

The Harder They Fall by Jill Shalvis seems to match your description.

Some Goodreads reviewers say, "The heroine, Trisha, is kooky and owns her own lingerie store (at 25) called Leather and Lace. The hero, Hunter, is a buttoned down astronaut/scientist (and I'm guessing much older) who inherited the duplex the heroine lives in." and "[Dr. Hunter Adams] the hero who is a successful NASA space scientist, a workholic and who craves control after a childhood with parents who were more like children... The hero is left a duplex by his aunt who adored him..."
