2015 was the first year for the Jewish Book Club, and I joined a month or so later. I missed Sweet Like Sugar and had already read As a Driven Leaf, so I picked up on the next few. I love The Rabbi's Cat, the first graphic book I made it all the way through. Admittedly the graphic books I'd tried earlier had their problems, but this one showed me the possibilities. I stumbled over Crossing the Borders of Time: A True Story of War, Exile, and Love Reclaimed; rather than read this, I should be working on my own genealogy, I thought. Picked back up with the wonderful Songs for the Butcher's Daughter. Never got to The Family: Three Journeys into the Heart of the Twentieth Century or A Pigeon and a Boy, of which I've heard good things....

This folder now holds those 2015 Books of the Month. The discussion topics remain open for anyone who reads and wants to comment.

Collecting the books we've read into folders by year is part of our reorganization of the Jewish Book Club.
