by Ellly GriffithsThe Zig Zag Girl
Purchased in 2015. It was a very good read and I enjoyed it very much. Since I waited so long to read it, there are now 4 more in the series. I do have the next one in my TBR too.
Ashley wrote: "Are you a cozy lover too Lynn?"Hi Ashley,
Read a mixture of crime fiction books and cozies. Have been reading less cozies because they have become so formula driven. I do have my favorite cozy writers-Carol Perry, Lea Wait, Veronica Heley and Charlotte MacLeod. Just to name a few that popped into my head as there are more. I always pre-order Carol Perry and Lea Wait. Liked Page Shelton's County Cooking School series too and Ellery Adams Books by the Bay series.
I read Lea's first Mainely Needlepoint and really enjoyed it. So sad to hear of her passing. I'm currently the first Books by the Bay by Ellery Adams. I haven't got far with as my reading time has not been good the past couple of days.Could you recommend some good crime fiction authors?

Here are my favorites : Elly Griffiths (Ruth Galloway series), Jane Casey(Maeve Kerrigan series), Candice Fox (Crimson Lake series based in Australia), Jane Harper,(loved the Lost Son) another Australian author plus many more authors

Probably one of the most different protagonists in a police procedural. Not a cookie cutter book. Can't predict what Fiona is going to do next.
