When I try to merge the two editions of my book, the one with the metadata and cover disappears and the one posted from the original announcement (with no cover or meta data) stays. Can the one without the cover and metadata either be merged into the other or deleted?

Dear Superlibrarians, here are to exact duplicates of a book. Please delete the one with less info. I already separated the 2 from their linked editions, merged them together and now the duplicate needs to be deleted. ETA: I apologize if the editions aren't separated when you get to them. In spite of the fact that I have left librarian notes on all the editions, the same person keeps combining them.
