I'll reword it...

Who do I ask to update the genres in my book? And, out of curiosity, where is this information stored? Is this something handled by librarians, through amazon's website (i.e source data), or a question for the staff?

Genres for giveaways are separate and distinct from genres in other parts of the site. You will need to contact staff for anything related to giveaways.

Genres elsewhere in the site are based on how users have shelved a book, and cannot be manually set by librarians.
