ABANDONED. native girl in alaska during measles/smallpox outbreak

Setting: Yukon or Alaska during the measles and smallpox outbreak of the 1800s
Characters: main character was a teen girl, others that I remember are that she had a family, and a white missionary woman who lived in their village/town
Plot: the main girl is the sole survivor of the outbreak, there is a lot of snow, and I think that Russians find her after her whole village/family dies

I read this around 2010-2014, but I remember it being an older paperback.

I know it is not a Louise Erdrich story. Big thanks to anyone who can help with my search!
