Tanya You like romance. You just don't want to like romance ;P

✘✘ Sarah ✘✘ (former Nefarious Breeder of Murderous Crustaceans) (oosarahoo) Do I like romance as much as I liked Iced?

Vanessa Eden Patton (vanessaeden) I swear; it's hard wading through the vast pools of sarcasm on this thread.

message 54: by Tanya (new)

Tanya No, even better. Te he he ;)

message 55: by Vanessa Eden (new)

Vanessa Eden Patton (vanessaeden) I will be glad to start reading the series so that way I can get a nice refresher and the newbies can decide if they like it or not.

message 56: by Tanya (new)

Tanya Yeah, Vanessa. We've gotta break in the noobs :)

message 58: by Vanessa Eden (new)

Vanessa Eden Patton (vanessaeden) Hmmm.

Vanessa Eden Patton (vanessaeden) Lol I can understand how that happened, as amazing as outlander was. You will enjoy the rest, especially Voyager and A Breath of Snow and Ashes.

Tanya is a pusher.

I think you're one in a million, Alex. I tried to convince my brothers to read this and there was no way they even considered. Oh, well... their lost.

Vanessa Eden Patton (vanessaeden) I've got several of the girls I work with reading the series. They are both about to start Voyager. I love talking about it with them. It's like I'm reliving outlander all over again.

Tanya Another Outlander victim fan in the making. Muah ha ha ha...

✘✘ Sarah ✘✘ (former Nefarious Breeder of Murderous Crustaceans) (oosarahoo) I'm telling you Tanya, I'll be very impressed if you manage to make an Outlander victim of me. Then again, you like a challenge don't you?!^^

Tanya

✘✘ Sarah ✘✘ (former Nefarious Breeder of Murderous Crustaceans) (oosarahoo) I KNEW it! Muhahahaha^^

Anyone want to start betting on the outcome of this challenge?

Never bet against Jamie.

Logan (logannance) | 1 comments Hi everyone, my name is Dan. I picked up Outlander because a friend of mine recommended it... and I have loved the journey. Bought the first book on Kindle, and just picked up a paperback copy for my gf to read, as well as paperbacks of the next two books that I will sandwich in my reading list between Kindle freebies that I have picked up thru the last two years.... Alas, it means that Stephen King's last three books will be pushed down the list, but. . . .

Tanya Welcome, Dan :)

NE | 10 comments Hi I'm Noreen in Irvine, Southern California. Purchased Outlander in August 2014, became instantly hooked & completed the series by Yule. Thoroughly enjoyed the TV series. Reread book 1 this week, but wanted some insight from other fans & decided to join a book club. I'm thinking about putting my culinary skills to practice while we read the series together, Outlander Kitchen had suggestions. I would love to go on the "Outlander tour" Scotland & meet Diana Gabaldon & the stars of the TV show. I can't wait to hear from all of you. I am ready to re-read this wonderful love story!

James (theadventurousbookreader) Hi, my name is James and I started the adventure of a lifetime while reading this series for the firs time on November 2014 because I was curious to what the book was like since my Mom wanted to see the TV Show and I have been a fan of this since then. Also, I can't wait to read the second book with you guys since I haven't read it yet.

Tanya Hi, James :)

Tanya Hi, Noreen! What is this Outlander Kitchen you speak of? I love Outlander and food, so it sounds like a very good thing.

NE | 10 comments Hi Tanya! Check out www.outlanderkitchen.com. A professional chef, food writer & Outlander fan created a website & created her version of classic Scottish food as well as outlander inspired dishes. I'm trying to get my gal pals to join this book group, as well as meet weekly to test an Outlander recipe ( like Jocasta's Scottish Shortbread) and watch the upcoming weekly episodes. ☺️

Tanya That sounds awesome! Thanks, Noreen. I'll check it out. I'd love to try some of Mrs. Bug's recipes :)
