For this week I continued with my graphic novel series I started the week before, and read books 4 and 5 of the Amulet Series by Kazu Kibuishi. These were 'The Last Council' and 'Prince of the Elves' which I found good! My students love this series so I thought I'd try it, also because I needed to read some books quick to finish my Goodreads challenge last year!
I've started 'Captive: A Mother's Crusade to Save Her Daughter from the Terrifying Cult Nxivm' by Catherine Oxenberg for my book club tonight, and it's really good so far! I've read 80% of the book in a day lol, and it's very interesting and not something I'd normally pick up, which is why I love challenges and book clubs! Full review to come next week!

But I did manage to read 30 pgs of 'Reverie' by Ryan la Sala which is intriguing so far because it makes no sense, and listened to a half hour of 'Thunderhead' by Neal Shusterman. Not much but it's something.

How is Thunderhead? I've read Scythe but haven't yet picked up #2 because it took me soooo long to read #1!

For that short week I did not do a lot of reading lol I worked a lot but managed to get a little further in "Talking as Fast as I Can" by Lauren Graham and continue to make progress with the Series of Unfortunate Events (currently on the 9th one). Hoping to get to read more soon!!

I'm only about 4 chapters in but I'm liking it so far. I read Scythe last month and loved it. Can't wait to see what happens in this one.

Then ('cause I like having both a "real book" and a e-book to read) I also started 'The Losers Club' by Andrew Clements, which I finished about halfway.
