Why do a Check-In?

Hi! I've decided to at (or near) the end of the weeks during the year a thread to check in. Just to see what we've read that week and any topics we've fulfilled. Just a fun little way to see how everyone's doing and what we're all reading, especially if a really good book we're reading doesn't fit a topic! Please feel free to check in weekly :)
Also, I know this really helped me last year find books and keep myself accountable. It was also nice to review the books weekly I read and see how many I read and share with others!

I honestly think doing the weekly check-ins was a big factor in reaching my reading goal. It let me see how much I was or wasn't reading and identify when I went into slumps and just needed to change up a book. Plus it's how I learned about some really good books. :)
