A book based on a true story

I interpret this to mean a novel, but I guess you could make a case for creative nonfiction. I've been meaning to read Burial Rites for years now, so maybe I will finally do that. But I might count that for my Australian author instead.

I am using a memoir for this, My Name is Why by Lemn Sissay. It includes poetry he has written himself.

I ended up going with Little Women since it is solidly based on the author's youth.

I realized that I have multiple possibilities for this one, but had forgotten to include them. I will count O Come Ye Back to Ireland for this.
