As the title says, which of our sci-fi picks for 2019 did you enjoy the most?

My favorite science fiction BOTM would be The Lives of Tao by Wesley Chu. Enjoyed the character dynamics and the story

Jessica | 446 comments I can’t recall if Ship of Fools was a BOTM, or if I found it through the noms, but I really enjoyed it

Vinca Russell (vinxlady) | 1561 comments Lives of Tao and One Word Kill were both 5* books for me. Reminds me that I really must finish both of those series in the near future...

Dawn | 1248 comments There were so many good books but I think Foundryside was my favourite. I loved the mix of magic and technology and the semi-Victorian feel of the world.

Sandy | 1665 comments I really liked Lives of Tao but I have to agree Foundryside was best for me. But have to admit, I haven't read them all yet.

Vinca Russell (vinxlady) | 1561 comments Foundryside is still on my TBR pile. Loved the sound of it, just ran out of time!

CrowFox Mischief (crowfox) | 22 comments I have Foundryside as a book to read this year. I haven't read Lives of Tao, but given the talk, I may need to put it on my list.

My fav book was Gideon the Ninth. I know that the group is reading it under Fantasy for January, but I view it as a mix of fantasy and sci-fi (based on the world).

A Big Ship at the Edge of the Universe was my favorite SF. I love character driven SF. I only read 5 BotM in 2019. I'll do better this year.

Amy | 410 comments One Word Kill and Aurora Rising were my favourites out of the bunch, but sadly no 5 starers for me this year.
