Tractors in Ukrainian will be the first one i want to try. rest will come whenever the book calls.
Interpretation was read by many in a group, so wanted to grab a copy. By the time i acquired the copy, it was too late :(
excuses excuses excuses! grrrr!

This is a used book collection i'm looking forward to... since it contains a few experimental reads. New indie authors. That Ruskin Bond book is out of print.

mindfulness is a set of 4 books which we are extremely delighted. Daughter loved it too for the colorful illustrations.
Jaipur journals was decent - a BR with Smi.
That Manto book is a 2 in 1 with Manto and Chughtai on reverse sides of the cover. Flip it and you have 2 books.
Yet to read others from this set.

Agin for the love of regional lit.
Ve Bhi Din Thhe is an autobiography written in Dogri (local language of Jammu Kashmir and few regions of Himachal)
Coming to the most special of them all! This is a gift parcel :) :) :)
Thoughtful gifts from a Santa Claus!
And I'm yet to find the sender!!!

P.S.: Please comment if you are not my Santa ;)

"Intended BRs:
A Gentleman in Moscow - with Resh, Manju - to begin after maladies
Draupadi -..."
I was looking out for this BR - A Gentleman in Moscow, but never happened. Please lmk, I will join. Well, I am still yet to finish Parva.
Draupadi by Mahasweta Devi?
Sure thing K. I was just tagging along Manju to read it with her.
Supposedly it was planned once she returns to India in April 2020 and gets hold of the book. All plans changed thereafter.
Now she has plans to return to India by last week of dec 2020. We might start somewhere in Jan. Will surely let you know.
This is the Draupadi book:
Yajnaseni: The Story of Draupadi
originally written in Telugu, I'll be reading the Hindi translation.
On the myths side, I'm yet to finish the book you gifted :) around pg 200 of 700 done.

So then you are only slightly ahead in Mrityunjay. I still have hopes of catching up.

Well let me know when you read Norwegian wood and Memoirs of Geisha. Would love to join in .
Thank you!
There can never be more than enough space for books!
Temporarily there is loads of space btw :D ... since we are not in Bangalore and have moved to hometown for a couple of months.
Which also means I don't have these paperbacks on display here. I'd want to wait to read the physical copies. Will surely let you know.
For now, need to buy a few books here to give me some company (and probable brickbats!)

Mookkajji was a superhit. Hunted for more than 2 years to get a Hindi translation of Dr. Sivaram Karanth. Was ecstatic to lay hands on this gem.
Arresting God was a collection of short stories... didn't like them much.
Possession was stalled after 50 pages. Might pick up again next year.
Ladies Coupe is still ongoing. Somehow unable to read at a stretch.
overall satisifed with this lot. Happy to have atleast tried all of them before stacking away in a box :)
