Hello! Thought I'd start a thread for anyone wanting to post their book possibilities for the 2020 challenge. Here are the categories:

1. A book with a number in the title

2. A fix-it, how-to or self-help book

3. An epistolary novel

4. A speed read (less than 100 pages)

5. A book about someone you admire

6. A book that has been or will be adapted to the screen

7. A selection from a celebrity book club

8. A book written by an author new to you

9. A book featuring a strong female lead

10. A book everyone's talking about

11. A "cli-fi" (climate fiction) novel or book about a natural disaster

12. A book by an author slated to visit Kansas in 2020

1. A book with a number in the title: The Woman in Cabin 10
2. A fix-it, how-to, or self help book: How to Draw & Color Fairies (stepping waaaay out of my comfort zone with this one!)
3. An Epistolary novel: Fried Green Tomatoes
4. A speed read: I think I have The Old Man and the Sea around here somewhere, but if not, I'll try The Importance of Being Earnest, or The Grownup by Gillian Flynn
5. A book about someone you admire: Becoming by Michelle Obama
6. A book that has been (or is being) adapted to the screen: Little Fires Everywhere
7. Celebrity book club: I have 5 books I'm considering for this: Big Little Lies, The Underground Railroad, The Sun is Also a Star, The Girls
8. new (to me) author: haven't decided yet
9. strong female lead: Missing Justice by Alafair Burke (C) Written in 2004, it's about a DDA in Portland, Oregon. Is more cerebral than action oriented.
10. a book everyone is talking about: either The Dutch House, Nothing to See Here, or Dear Edward
11. cli-fi: The Dog Stars by Peter Heller
12. book by author visiting Kansas: to be determined
