For stories I'm connected to, I have a hardback or paperback copy, a Kindle version, and an audiobook version. I have a dog-eared paperback copy of Dune and the 2006 MacMillan audiobook version. I'm eyeing the new deluxe hardback version.
I have the Barnes and Noble collectible edition hardback and the audiobook. I feel like I owned a paperback at some point but I'm sure I loaned it to someone I insisted read it lol.
I had three Alphabet Squadrons for a while, through no fault of my own, until I gave them away. I like rehoming books. Currently there are three Fifth Seasons in this house, one digital, one physical, and one in Polish. (I don't read Polish.) Just one Dune lol
I like rehoming books, too. I keep all the books I want to re-home or donate in the same place, and this year I want to get better about dropping some in Little Free Libraries.
I have three copies of Dune. I own an ebook, the Audible edition, and the amazing Folio Society Hardback. I used to own more but I needed to find space for my ever growing (code for out of control) board games.

When I find myself deeply connected to a story, I acquire multiple editions of it. This despite a near constant lack of space on my bookshelf. Other folks do this... right? I hope?
For Dune, I have: a Kindle edition (easier for when I'm on the go), two different paperback editions, an Easton Press edition handed down to me by a kind friend, and of course the gorgeous new deluxe hardback from Penguin Random House.
What? I can quit anytime I want.
Does anyone else do this? How many copies of Dune do you own? Or do you have multiple editions of other books? Reply and let me know and if you want to share a photo of these books, you can find me on Twitter at amy_geek.
