Ryan Chase | 4 comments I read part of a book back in 6th or 7th grade (2012-2014) and I unfortunately never got to finish it. This book was a sci-fi adventure about 3 kids, I believe stuck in a video game/simulation, captured by the government for experiments. I remember there was 2 boys and 1 girl. The main character was a boy who could keep time down to the second without a clock, it was one of the very first lines in the book. I can’t remember the girl or other boys special “ability”, however I do remember that the second boy was handicap, back then I thought it meant in a wheelchair so he could or could not be in a wheelchair. I think his special ability had something to do with either technology or something to do with high knowledge, and I believe the girl was a skilled fighter (I only remember her fighting once and I think that’s what it was). This was a long time ago to me so it’s a little fuzzy, and I could only get about 6-8 chapters in before I had to return the book for some kind of break, but if anyone knows what the book could be, or has read this book, I would love to be able to find it and finish it!

Ryan Chase | 4 comments No, it had 3 main characters, and I don’t believe they were in a war per say, I do remember somthing about them fighting to escape some kind of complex they were trapped in, at one point, the main character woke up and it was somthing like 3:16:47 in the morning, random but very precise. They were being watched by cameras so they could only do things at certain times

Ayshe | 4721 comments I haven't read it so I don't know how it matches, but there are 2 other teammates mentioned and the Kirkus review mentions the third one: Brig as crippled: https://www.kirkusreviews.com/book-re...

Ryan Chase | 4 comments Not quite but it is close to that book, and also looks like a good read so I’ll have to add this one to the list to read. If I remember correctly, the book starts out in the main characters room, when he wakes up from sleeping. This one starts with the main characters playing tennis

Ryan Chase | 4 comments Not that one either, the main character was male and the other 2 protagonists were male and female. Again, I don’t remember what their “super power” was but I think the crippled boy was a technomancer of some kind? I think it mentioned in the book that he built his own wheelchair, again I’m not entirely sure, it was 7-8 years ago, but vague memories come and go

Ryan, please put plot details into your header/title since there are hundreds of posts looking for juvenile sci-fi.
