With another magical wave the hooded figure was transformed... into Cindy's fairy godmother.
"What do you mean when you say this is who I really am?" Cindy wasn't quite sure she trusted this magical being.
"When you were a child," Cindy's fairy godmother said, "your mother's enemies turned you into a brown field mouse."
"I was sent to look over you and protect you" the fairy godmother continued.
Cindy was utterly bewildered by this fairy tail sorry tale
But for some strange reason, Cindy believed her fairy godmother with all her heart.
She began to remember small details of her life before she became a mouse
But she seemed to remember a mother who would sing to her every night.
Her mother's hair like spilled ink flowing down her shoulders, strawberry lips parting with every delicate melodic syllable.
Then she slapped the so-called 'fairy godmother', tears blurring her vision.
The lullaby that had been playing through her mind grew louder and louder, “I don’t care who you are,” Cindy shouted through tears, “you’re not my mother!”
Cindy's disbelief had again turned the fairy godmother into a menacing hooded figure.
"You should not have done that" menaced the hooded figure.
Cindy glared at the hooded figure, anger burning hot inside her as she reached out, her hand glowing suddenly, fueled by her rage.
As the now menacing Fairy Godmother reached out her hand there was an almighty crash and burst of energy and she toppled to the ground.
Cindy was aghast wondering what it would be- fight or flight.
The Fairy Godmother pulled out her wand, which had transformed into a sinister stick crawling with vines, black magic coiled around it as she pointed it to Cindy's chest.
Cindy looked around in panic, this would be the moment that altered the course of her fate, what would she do?
Cindy closed her eyes, held out her hand and shouted " Nimbus!".
She didn’t know what the word meant or what it would do, but something inside of her knew to say it.
And as she said it, a blinding bright white light began to appear and very soon that was all she could see
But she didn't give up. She tried to find out what to do next.
Opening one eye (she'd closed her eyes in her panic) she snuck a peek at the Fairy Godmother and burst out laughing.
The Fairy Godmother had grown a beard and was sporting hot-pink hair, her wand comically transformed into a trail of sausages.
The Fairy Godmother shook her fist exclaiming, "This isn't over!" before disappearing in a puff of lime green smoke.
(lol this is hilarious)Cindy glanced at her arms and found herself transforming.
"Oh no" she thought, "not again, I just hope this time I'm something a bit more kick*** than a mouse!"
But wishes are tricky, too literal; in a swirl of wind and stirring leaves Cindy transformed into something that could kick a mouses a**, a cat.
"Puurrrfect", came a low gutteral purr, "sooo many wonderful things I can do as a cat" exclaimed Cindy pleased with her new transformation.
Except from a distance she heard a dog bark, oh no!
As the barking was joined by more barking and started coming closer, Cindy looked around for a getaway
She spied a small hollow in a tree perfect for her size and she leapt in.
But just as she snuggled in she felt a tingling throughout her body.
There was something, nay someone else in the hollow!
Who are you and what are you doing here in my hollow in my tree?
In the gloom of the hollow, all Cindy could see were some huge unblinking eyes coming closer...friend or foe she didn't know?
But before she could wait for the creature to reveal itself, a force pulled her out of the hollow.
Her insides were in turmoil... crunched by the thought of what new threat awaits her
Suddenly she heard a small voice call out, "Cindy, is that you?"
And she woke up with a start. (can we still continue???)
..realizing how she had marijuana filling instead of raspberry last night
And she felt an invisible pair of lips on hers...
