PattyMacDotComma I loved Aussie author Tabitha Bird's debut novel A Lifetime of Impossible Days. It does cover a lifetime, and it is impossible, but I was happy to suspend disbelief and enjoy her fine character/s!

Doris Mahala (grannyof5) Just finishing (listening) up An Echo in the Bone and I am also reading Soul Keeper the author is David Dalglish.
I will tell anyone who wishes to follow my reviews of An Echo in the Bone you will see that I do give a lot of spoilers and it is listed by one of the mods that there are a lot of spoilers.
I am a reader that finds it hard to keep spoilers to myself.
I abide by the rules in the forum, however, I will not post until I can keep all spoilers to myself or put at the beginning of my post.

Kristie | 5927 comments I just started The Silent Patient and it drew me in right away. I have too many books going at the moment, so I really shouldn't have started another, but it goes back to the library in a couple of days. It seems this is just what I am in the mood for too.

message 323: by Doris (new)

Doris Mahala (grannyof5) I just finished: Soulkeeper the author is the : David Dalglish.
It is a darker fantasy than what I am used to reading but, if you read my review and want answers to the questions I have put our there then you must read it!
It is a 5-star book!
There are no spoilers and I will let you know that the review that I wrote is hard for me to do!
I blurb and review just like I am talking to you and my mouth is so big that I have a tendency to spoil a book, movie or show I have seen and someone else has not seen.
If this situation arises in my home I go to another room just to keep my mouth shut!
It is hard for me to keep spoilers to myself.

PattyMacDotComma How Much of These Hills Is Gold is the debut of C Pam Zhang about migrant Chinese in the American west. Not as much gold as I'd hoped.

Avi Christiaans | 1 comments Just finished the new memoir More Myself: A Journey by Alicia Keys.

Truly inspiring, and refreshing.
By no means the best memoir, as it doesn't really delve into the life of Alicia Keys. But a worthy read nonetheless.

Ryan Krol | 15 comments I've always wanted to read 1984!

1984 by George Orwell

While browsing the small book section at Target, I stumbled upon 1984 in the pocket book section for only $8 bucks. Also bought The Shining, The Haunting of Hill House, and Batman: The Killing Joke all for cheap.

I was reading Songs and Stories from Electric Mars by PanOrheus, and have many other books lined up, but 1984 has jumped to the front of the line. So I'm spending a lot of my quarantine juggling both books now while writing my second book.

Catching up on a lot of back reading, and finding all these books will help!
