Kristie | 5928 comments You are flying through the Mercy Thompson series, Woman Reading! I made it up to book #10 Silence Fallen, but then had to wait for it to be published and haven't gotten back to the series since. I'm glad to see someone else enjoying it. I think my favorite in the series so far was #8 Night Broken.

message 959: by booked with me (new)

booked with me Just finished One by One, it was pretty good but I enjoyed The Woman in Cabin 10 by her more.

I am almost done with Execution by Hunger: The Hidden Holocaust, which is a short read but impactful and insightful. I suggest reading this if you are into history that isn't talked about often.

I just started The Grim Steeper. It started of kind of slow but it's picking up and I hope to finish it by the weekend so that I can start Behind Closed Doors because I'm really excited about it. :)

Way to go! You flew through the series. I read through Fire Touched and even pre-ordered Silence Fallen, but never got back to the series. I hope I remember enough of the smaller details to get back into it.

If you enjoy reading into other cultures (China, in this case), and picking up some history along the way, this is really beautiful and heart-breaking. Not really a spoiler to say it's narrated chiefly by ghosts -- but it's not a ghost story.
