Kristie wrote: "What books are you currently reading or what have you just finished reading? What did you think of the book?"I'm currently reading "Wuthering Heights" and I've recently finished reading "Safe Haven" and "If I stay". So far, WH has been great and kinda hard to understand when narrated with the yorkshire slang, whereas SH was ok and If i stay was really good. I felt that safe Haven could have deliver sooo much more (I saw the movie first, maybe it was for that reason) and If I stay was definitely heartbreaking though I hated Mia and her whole way of reflecting upon the whole situation.
I've just finished The Girls with No Names. I thought it was excellent. You can read my review here. I just started The Book of Lost Names. It grabbed me right from the beginning and I'm looking forward to seeing where it goes.
My new favourite book! Becoming Duchess Goldblatt: A Memoir is funny, poignant, witty, unique. The anonymous author shares her real, broken life and the wise tweets of her 81-year-old Twitter alter-ego. "People often come to me seeking the true meaning of life, but I find they’re usually satisfied with half a sandwich." DG

I am currently reading The Cult on Fog Island
by Mariette Lindstein. I have won my first giveaway this year. With the virus it could take longer to receive.
Ive just finished reading Syndrome by Ryan Krol, a Goodreads Author .My review is here

To Kill a MockingbirdTo tell the truth, I wasn't excited at first about reading this book but it just gets even better every page! The racial discriminations were described so intricately that they seemed to touch my soul deeply. The book weaves mysteries and childhood fantasies along with its central theme that I can't help but keep reading on!

To Kill a Mocking bird is my favorite book.

Thanks! Yes, I'm enjoying Before We Were Yours I may try On Earth We're Briefly Gorgeous again but not on audio. Audio was not working for me for this book. I also quickly read The Silent Patient which was a very fast read
Finished and loved The World That We Knew
by Alice HoffmanMy review: www.goodreads.com/review/show/3439406915
There Will Come Soft Rains is the phrase Ray Bradbury pinched from a poem for the title of this 1950 short story about California in 2026.

The Pardoner's Crime: A historical crime thriller featuring Robin Hood is the first in a new series by Keith Moray, who writes under a couple of other names. Light, easy read.

Magic Bites by Ilona AndrewsMy review: www.Goodreads.com/review/show/3456857659
I do so enjoy Louise Penny's Canadian Inspector (now Commander) Armand Gamache series, so I was delighted to visit Three Pines again in A Great Reckoning.
4.5★ Link to my Great Reckoning review
John Updike won Pulitzer prizes for books three and four of his Rabbit, Run series. I've just read the first, and he certainly does know how to write.

I finished
Magic Burns #2 by Ilona Andrews. I had started the highly rated Kate Daniels series here, instead of with #1, so it can be read as a standalone. My review: www.Goodreads.com/review/show/3460021572
I finished a coming-of-age young adult supernatural suspense / paranormal romance book yesterday: Trinal Academy: Ancient Blood Ties
by Erick Phillips.My 3 star review: https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...
I finished Never Let Me Go
by Kazuo Ishiguro.My review: https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...
Now I'm reading You
by Caroline Kepnes. Might be one of the quicker reads, the stalker POV is very interesting!
I am currently reading the Seprent & Dove and I am hating it...I don't know but I haven't read a good, interesting fantasy book for some time now.
I also can't find any decent historical romance that isn't too clean or too vulgar, something in the middle doesn't exist. I love Regency and Victorian settings and they are full of stupid heroes with insta-love.
Aren't they any good books out there, I am wondering?
I finished a historical romance: Who's That Earl
by Susanna Craig.My 3 star review: https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...
Next up: The Extinction Agenda
by Michael Laurence.
