Emma Jo Hello!
My name is Emma, and I am from Indiana, USA. I am in my late teens, dreaming big about writing, playing music, gardening, reading, traveling, and serving the Lord wherever I end up!
I am super excited to be in this group of fellow believers from all over the place connected through literature, and I am giddy to enter big discussions with like-minded folks!
Thank you so much for making me feel so welcome here! 😁

MacKenzie (kenziethebookworm14) | 1 comments Hello! I’m MacKenzie, but you can call me Kenzie. I’m a homeschooler, writer (mainly in my free time for fun), big sister (to two annoying younger brothers), reader, christian of course, and teen. :) I love mangos, books, writing, volleyball, and school! My favorite book genres are Christian fiction (to be specific, fantasy) and fantasy!

Briana Bass | 1 comments Hello! My name is Briana and I'm thrilled to find this group! I love Jesus, writing, and coffee, so I think I'm in the right place :)

I volunteer in youth ministry, and we recently started a little free library for our junior and senior high youth. I hope to find some great recommendations for that age group while adding to my own TBR shelf!

Lin | 2 comments Hi, So glad to have found this group. I am an Artist and a Christian Author and a Kids book Author - and an avid reader. I would love to connect with others as I find it inspires my creativity. It's lonely being a creative so having these Christian groups to interact with is good for my soul. Thank you for all you do. I look forward to this journey with you all.

It has been a few years and we are retired now. I have always liked to read and prefer a good book, mostly a mystery to wind down with at night instead of tv.

Hello, Beth and everyone in this group. I haven't been here in quite some time. Is this board still active? Just trying to re-introduce myself since I have written a faith-based mystery. I know I am nobody but I wrote it to edify believers and for those who have not yet come to faith. I will post in the authors section also. Blessings and happy reading.

It's so unfortunate when that happens. Jesus said "We are not of this world" so why do they feel thy need to write like them? We need to edify each other in all we say and do. Writing is such an opportunity and an awesome responsibility.

message 778: by Lisa (new)

Lisa Vanoni | 19 comments As an author, I admit it is hard to write real life characters and make sure you don't often or go over board. I pray about what I write so I can show relatable characters and glorify God in my writings. But i understand what you mean about the slipper slope

message 779: by Lisa (new)

Lisa Vanoni | 19 comments That's supposed to be offend not often. and slippery slope no slipper slope. Editors are really important! Better to laugh at my mistakes than get mad at them! LOL

message 792: by Cassandra (new)

Cassandra | 1 comments Hi everyone! I've been walking with the Lord for a couple years now. I love to read pretty much anything but I'm not much of a fan of romance or horror, or witchy stuff. I sometimes find myself worrying if a book is "antichristian" before I read it, and things like that. I tend to like YA lit, dystopian lit that's not too scifi, and sometimes historical fiction, general fiction, or other genres, but I also have a yearning to start reading some classics. I'm hoping to start Redeeming Love soon when I finish one of the books I'm currently reading! and I really want to read the Intervention series. I'm not really sure what else to say about my self but I'm happy to be here! I'm a teacher and grad student so I may not be very active on here but I'm hoping to be on enough to participate in things. thanks for your time and God bless!

Abby (abby_stapleton461) | 40 comments Hello, I’m Abby! I am a Christian mother and wife. I love to read clean romance, thrillers, and historical fiction. I’ve got one baby named James Elliot who will be a year old in November. We attend our local New Testament church where my husband teaches the young adult Sunday school class and keeps preaching appointments on Sunday evening services. I’m excited to make new friends in this community!
