Lynn Watson | 4 comments Thank you everyone. I'll be excited to share Tangled Promises with you. The cover should be available to share in July. In the meantime here's a peek at what it's about.
Southwest Germany 1881
Her father pledges her hand in marriage to one man. She promises her heart to another. The rules of nobility, rumors of a family secret, and contemptuous intentions threaten to unravel every promise Clara has made. Where do her loyalties lie?

Heather (gemsong) | 18 comments Hello, I am Heather. Since the company I work for got bought out & everyone laid off, I had time on my hands so (when I'm not work searching) I'm now a volunteer assistant librarian at my church. (it wasn't hard, small library & my mother is the librarian) So I have loads of books available to me :) I'm enjoying the work, and reading a lot more. I recently finished the Maple Falls series from Kathleen Fuller. Our church is collectively reading the updated Purpose Driven LIfe & talking about it in groups. Aside from reading, a few things I enjoy are learning the ukulele, seeing Broadway shows & cooking vegan food.

message 568: by Karrie (new)

Karrie Massotti | 1 comments Hi everyone my name is Karrie. I love to read. Hubby and I live alone in a 6 bedroom home due to our books. Lol. I tend to do kindle to audio books these days though. I listen while working between meetings which helps me finish them faster.

My favorite author is Stephen James, but I love Colleen Coble, Dee Henderson and many others. Mystery is fav genre for sure. I just finished Ted Dekkers Circle series tonight and thought I’d look for a CF group here on GR as most of my friends only have secular books in my feed. I also love Tea (like a true tea snob who drinks loose only and 5-6 varieties a day). Married 30 years this year. No kids but two spoiled cats and two birds. I also love to crochet so I tend to listen to books while crocheting too.

I look forward to getting to know you all.

Welcome, Karrie!

message 571: by Anna (last edited Mar 06, 2023 11:19AM) (new)

Anna Hello everyone! My name is Anna -I'm kind of a newbie to the whole goodreads environment- and I love reading, music, writing, running, reading my bible and worship with friends on the weekends. I'm 16 and struggling with trying to combine my social life with school but we're working on it :)

I'm very open to reading anything and everything I find. I really like reading books from local authors in my area I can relate to, but also young adult, fantasy and historical fiction.

Happy to be here!

message 574: by Amber (new)

Amber (amberlovestoread) | 22 comments Hi, my name is Amber and (I think) I joined Goodreads a few years ago, but I actually started using it a couple of months ago. So, I'm relatively new to Goodreads but a lifelong reader, born of parents who are also lifelong readers. I pretty much read Christian fiction exclusively although I make exceptions for a few mainstream fiction writers who write clean reads. Within the Christian genre, you can find me reading just about anything... I just love a good story. Also, please don't ask me to pick a favorite author because I really can't do it... I have favorite authors (and I'm pretty sure I couldn't even keep it to a list that you could count with two hands).

Outside of the pages of a book, you'll find me hanging out with my husband and searching for new recipes to try in the kitchen. Thanks for having me!

I'm an Active-Duty Army Chaplain who has finally gotten over the reading wos of seminary school and now enjoy it again :) When I read animal crackers are nearby and maybe a cigar too. Absolutely love paintball (actually use paintball with marriage counseling), sailing and wood working.

message 587: by Laney (last edited Mar 27, 2023 10:26AM) (new)

Laney (lulahjane) | 1 comments Hi, I’m Laney. I switched to Christian fiction when I became a believer in 1991, at age 35- starting with the Brock and Bodie Thoene series. I “chain smoke” books☺️, what I call it when I light off one right from the last page of the previous one. The top tier of my faves are Charles Martin (except for a couple of his) and Davis Bunn, but the list continues from there. I came on here because I’m always ready to discover a new (for me) author! Thanks, ya’ll.
