Anyone interested in continuing the Shatter Me series with me in May? The buddy read for the first book (Shatter Me) was last month and I tried commenting on there but no response. If someone needs time to read the first one before reading the 2nd-6th, I'm open to waiting and starting in a later month.

Could we move The Irresistible Blueberry Bakeshop & Cafe to August? It is currently listed in May with no one else having signed up to read it then.

Could we move Hope on the Inside to September? It is currently listed in June with no one else having signed up to read it then.

Could we move Second Chance at the Sugar Shack to October, please? It is currently listed in July with no one else having signed up to read it then.

These were scheduled for the IRL book club I facilitate and we have adjusted our schedule due to two canceled meetings (March and April). We may cancel May's meeting as well, but I can easily read these one month prior to the meeting.

Remaining 4 books in the series have been added, starting from May until December.

I will also read the second and third books with you. Embarrassing to admit, I started reading the second book in 2017 but somehow, parked it for an indefinite time. Looks like I can finally get around with it! :)

I'm not the mod in charge of Buddy Reads but I can answer your questions.

Since you ask for guidance on how Buddy Reads, I suggest you read the first post of this thread here. You will find a detailed explanation on how to nominate and join Buddy Reads. It also includes a link to a spreadsheet llsting confirmed Buddy Reads.
The post beneath it lists suggested Buddy Reads that have yet to find a reading buddy. If you find one you'd like to join, be sure to list the book and its scheduled month.
If you'd like to join an ongoing Buddy Read discussion, just hop over to that thread and let the others know you'll be joining the discussion.

Best wishes finding some books you wish to Buddy Read.
