Lol, same here but the temptation...

Since you are also interested in reading it, can I confirm the book for April? I’ll have to update my original post with the agreed month.

Of course you can confirm the book for April, I'll be looking forward to it!!

Oh no, there are just too many messages, I understand! 😊
Can’t wait to read along with you!
Hi Kristin, could you please add my remaining suggestions to the Buddy Reads spreadsheet as per the months assigned below? However, could you also highlight that I’m open to other months as well. Sorry for the trouble! July
Queenie
Where the Forest Meets the Stars
My Sister, the Serial Killer
August
The Nickel Boys
City of Girls
Ninth House
Recursion
(Just realised that I may not be able to attract any buddy readers until the books make it to the excel.)
Hi Buddy Readers! I'm helping Kristin out with the spreadsheet. It should be caught up through Message 358. I do have a few clarifications that need made:Emma readers: Sara, Fiona, and Sunshine. Sunshine would like to read it in May. Does that work for you all? It was previously set for April with just Sara and Fiona.
Shareen, would you like to suggest a month to start the 4th Eragon and Wizard of Glass books?
Krish, would you like to suggest a month to start The Splendid and the Vile: A Saga of Churchill, Family, and Defiance During the Blitz? (I may be interested in reading this with you but I'm not committing to anything else yet)
I wanted to ask for the people buddy reading Dune with me in July, is anyone down to continue with the rest of the series, or at least the next couple of books? Personally I'd love to read all of them but since they're 8 and we're doing 2 months/book we can see as it comes, but I would love to get to at least the third
@ ~•Elena•~ If i like first one i will read couple more but i don't know at this moment. Can't promise anything, but from all i know about the book i will be in for at least 3 this year
Great!! And of course, nothing is binding I just was curious because the world really interests me haha. It's all up for discussion <3
I am interested in reading The Splendid and the Vile: A Saga of Churchill, Family, and Defiance During the Blitz with Krish...I would like to read it in April but if it is in May or June, that is fine too! :)
Thank you for this work, and for helping! Catching up here, it looks like the only question I need to answer is about Wizard and Glass? June? Gives any takers time to catch up...
SarahKat! So sorry, I had missed that you mentioned Eragon as well. For that fourth book (both are fourths!), I can also do June or onward. Before, if anyone is that interested...
Anyone up to read some classics?I’m planning on reading
1) A Room with a View
2) Wuthering Heights
3) Pride and Prejudice
4) Around the World in Eighty Days
So if anyone wants to read any of these, please join me! We can arrange on when to read!
Shareen wrote: "I will read Pride and Prejudice with you! Preferably June or after..."June sounds good!

Veronica, any suggestion on which months to read these? We can always change the months if needed!

A few of us agreed for Pride and Prejudice in June. Other than that, totally up to them! Thanks!
Shareen wrote: "SarahKat wrote: "Veronica wrote: "Anyone up to read some classics?I’m planning on reading

Yep got that one on the schedule! Thanks Shareen
I'm willing to read Cinder in June, but as I'm not such a fan of YA, may probably read only the first book, depending on how good it is.
Books and peloton, I've added you to Pride and Prejudice in June. You and Veronica, and anyone else interested just need to pick what month to read the rest of the classics suggested and I'll add them to the spreadsheet! 😊

Yay! So I’m thinking of reading A Room With A View on April.
Wuthering Heights on May
Pride and Prejudice on June
Around The World... on July
Roughly! We can always change right?
Guys,I have a problem. I was going to read the paradox next month in April with Michele, but due to the fact that libraries are closed and this book is not available here in English in bookstores or as ebook at a price that I'm willing to pay for it, I cannot get a copy of the book for that month. I don't know when I will be able to get a copy :(.

It looks like the Goldfinch is already in the buddy list for April, so I;m sure you could join that one to help with your decision on something to read :D
Nicolas wrote: "Sounds good to me! But how do I confirm the buddy read on the Goldfinch with the others? "Nicolas, the buddy reads for April have already been posted, so you can just go to thread and tell your fellow buddy readers that you'd like to join :) Here is a link to the thread for the Goldfinch: https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...
Please also have a look at the first comments of this thread for the buddy read rules.
I am reading the following books in some other groups, in case anyone wants to join me (in addition to my confirmed Buddy Reads):May: Harry Potter 5;
May: Four Past Midnight;
June: Harry Potter 6;
June: Needful Things.
Thanks!
Nicolas, I have added your name to the Goldfinch buddy read.
The Overstory is also a Buddy Read for April: https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...
as is All the Light We Cannot See: https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...
The Nightingale is a Buddy Read for September
The Starless Sea is a Buddy Read for May
The Ten Thousand Doors of January is a Buddy Read for June
If you would like to sign up for any or all of these just post in this thread and I will add you. For the other books you've suggested, please also suggest a month to read them and I will add them to the suggested reads in the spreadsheet (for which there is a link in the first post of this thread).
Holy Moly that's a lot of buddy reads for April. It's as if tons of people suddenly have a lot more reading time.
Marc wrote: "Holy Moly that's a lot of buddy reads for April. It's as if tons of people suddenly have a lot more reading time."I know that I had already planned on March and April being my heaviest reading months this year, so the timing worked, lol.
Hello!I'm not one of the Buddy Reads mods, but I'd like to ask (as a personal favor?) that Buddy Read nominations be posted as text (or book link) and not book covers.
They both take the same amount of time to post. But, text (or a book link) can be read at a glance while a bookcover needs to be moused over to identify the book.
Or, I could just skip any posts with bookcover nominations, I guess.. 😉
With so many Buddy Read nominations lately, I personally want to skim through them quickly. My apologies if I've offended anyone or overstepped boundaries.
Also, a big thank you to our Buddy Read mods, Kristin and SarahKat.
Thank you for transforming this chaos into order. 🌹🌼🌻🌺

Yes, I prefer text for sure as well. And YES, thank you to our Mods, such an incredible job!

A valid point, oshizu! I was thinking of raising the same point.
Nicolas wrote: "I'm innocent I swear! :P but yea, I can change all of mine to text links instead of book covers if need be."This is not just for you, Nicolas! A lot of us are guilty of doing the same. Your nominations have already been updated in the spreadsheet so you need not make any changes to your post, however, for future nominations, it will be very helpful to just post the book links! Thanks!
I'd like to join One of Us Is Lying by Karen M. McManus in October if it's still possible. Thank you!
