Thanks so much for all you do for us Buddy Readers, Kristin!

May I interest anyone else to join me?
June: The Martian
July: Artemis (later works for me as well)

That book is over 1000 pages. I would like to do that buddy challenge but I am afraid that I would need more than 2 months. So just Year of the Flood.

You’ve been successful (again) to tempt me with your nominations. I’d like to join you for both the books.
@Kristin - Please sign up oshizu and me for The Martian and Artemis in June and July respectively. Many thanks!

Yay, Trisha! I love buddy reading with you, so that's a plus!

I will join for whenever the group wants, though I prefer April.

Ooohhh...I'll join you in June to read The Martian! I loved Artemis when I read it for a book club!

Anne of Green Gables (Only 1 book) - L.M. Montgomery (February)
Gone Girl - Gillian Flynn (March)
The Cruel Prince - Holly Black (April)

I would like to know how to find the thread. Thank you

@Andree-Anne
Here's the link to the "February 2020 Buddy Reads" folder:
https://www.goodreads.com/topic/group...
You'll see your Buddy Read thread for Anne of Green Gables about halfway down the page in that folder.
Kristin makes a new folder for each month of Buddy Reads.
Happy reading!

Should it be a two month? I am in, just wondering =)

If after the paradox the books are still good, I would also like to suggest The Remnant, which is part 3, for May.

I'd like to nominate-
February
-Vengeful (#2 in Villans series by V. E. Schwab)-If some people need to read the first one first we can move it to a different month
March
-The Gra..."
Hi, Ruthie!
I see on the spreadsheet that you had proposed Children of Virtue and Vengeance for February. In looking at my reading schedule, I would be happy to read that with you in May. Would that work for you? (I honestly hate to wait that long, but I already have myself scheduled for a ton in March and April!) :) I should get points for at least TRYING to be realistic, doncha think? LOL

Lynn, my library hold for Children of Virtue and Vengeance will come through in the middle of April so as long as you don’t mind me starting it a few weeks before May we can for sure discuss it in May!

Thanks!

There are others on your list I'm interested in, but I'll have to see how things are going in later months & what I'm up for reading.

I'd like to nominate Dune

Edit: I'd be totally down to read the whole series of 8 books, one every other month to space them out :)
I'd also like to nominate The Hunger Games

Edit: and The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes for September (as decided below)
ALSO; I'd like to nominate One of Us is Lying

Edit:(I am sorry) I just noticed there's a sequel to this book and I'd be down to read it right after too :D
I really hope I did this right and that someone wants to join me :D

I'm so glad :D
So start with the first in July, second in September and eventually the fifth in March of 2021? That'll be amazing <3

I'd like to nominate Dune

I'll join you for Hunger Games. Are also planning the prequel too?
