That's alright! In that case, I don’t need to add a new buddy read thread for you.

Michelle wrote: "If I can find the book, I might join if you're going to read it for May..."

Michelle, if you want to suggest this book for buddy reading, you can do that for a future month i.e. starting from June.

Michelle (spookiieej) | 422 comments @Trisha, I'm fine then, I'll read it on my own this month ;). I saw that part 2 and 3 of the series are in the list already for July and August and I would like to participate with those then :).

Clarrificiation: that would be shadow of night in July and the book of life in August ;).

Veronica Hninn (looking_for_veronica) | 85 comments You know what, count me in for The Long Walk!
I wasn’t gonna read because I already had books planned out for the month but there’s always room for a Stephen King to squeeze in.

message 510: by L Y N N (new)

L Y N N (book_music_lvr) | 2389 comments Happy Monday, Trisha!

I would like to join the buddy read for Daisy Jones & The Six in June. I meant to read this book last year and am DETERMINED to do so this year! :)

I am interested in reading The Ten Thousand Doors of January for June, but doubt I'll have a copy to do so, so I won't join unless that happens! :)

Thank you for all your work to enable these buddy reads!

message 511: by DieAReader (new)

DieAReader I'm not completely sure if I'm doing this right & therefore apologize if it's wrong.

I'd like to join the BR for July suggested by Shareen (Books 2 & 3).Shadow of Night

I've never done a BR here (or anywhere else for that matter lol). Are there any other feeds that I need to post in? Sorry for all the questions. Thanks everyone!

message 512: by Shareen (new)

Shareen Ghabrial (ghabi) | 299 comments This is great! So, Trisha, it looks like Amanda (SquidgetsRoom), Michelle, and I plan to read A Discovery of Witches in May. In case you do want to add it. And the three of us, as well as Ruthie, are still thinking July and August for the two books that follow, but can confirm for you then! Thanks so much, sorry for the mire.

And YAY on the added Stephen King readers!

Eirelyn
We can discuss Raven Boys #2 in July!

My hold from the library is supposed to come through before that so I may finish it before July. OR if I have too much on my plate then I'll re-request it from the library for July.

I'm also good for Raven Boys #2 in July. I promise I'll actually have time to read the book this time!

message 517: by Shareen (new)

Shareen Ghabrial (ghabi) | 299 comments Welcome, and I love that cereal. You recommend a book on here, and if someone seconds it, a Buddy Read is born! You would list the Title, Author, and Month you would like to read. If you see a book that you want to join, jump in and second it! I am not a Moderator, this is just how I understand it! Oh, and the hard-working Moderators will produce a summary at the end of each month (which is my Christmas, lol), and they will create a thread to discuss each book.

Keshav, it is unfortunately too late to suggest more books for the month of May. Cutoff for new suggestions is the 25th of each month. Thank you!

@Ruthie, great, thanks! I'm excited. :D

@Isabella, yay! I'm glad you'll be joining us again. I'll try to get it read earlier & not rush to finish it right at the end of the month this time. XD

Would anyone be interested in buddy-reading it with me?

Marc *Dark Reader with a Thousand Young! Iä!* (marcthedarc) | 660 comments I will join Ruthie in reading Harrow the Ninth in August, provided that it is released on time (scheudled for Aug. 4) and that my library is open again by then so that I can get the book.

Ruthie (ruthieram_reads) | 985 comments Just want to check again if anyone wants to read these in June or July because my library holds will be available then.

The Other People by CJ Tudor

Yes No Maybe So by Becky Albertalli

Courting Darkness by Robin LaFevers (#1 in series, want to read #2 also)

What is the Courting Darkness one like, in terms of what you and I have been Buddy Reading? Thanks! (It would have to be July, if we go for it, and if that works for you...)
