I rated this book 4 stars. I previously read “The Last Wish” which is considered to be the first book of short stories about the Witcher. I've purchased the next book of short stories (The Sword of Destiny) and I'll soon return to the novels. I'm enjoying these books while watching the new series now on Netflix.

@L.G. Reading the books at the same time as you watch the series. That's a good way to end up throwing your Kindle at the TV Screen! I'm wrapping up the series now on Netflix. I wish they'd kept the Shannara Series going.

I never watched the Shannara series. I've read some of the books. How did the show compare (if you read the books)?
