I'm currently reading How to Build a Girl - it started of really good, awkward and some extremely embarrassing scenes. Now I'm not too sure. I'm a little bored with it.I have A Dog's Purpose and This House of Grief to read next.
I just started Emma and I plan to read A Clockwork Orange, We Were Liars, Cover Her Face and possibly If on a Winter's Night a Traveler. I look forward to A Christmas Carol since I've seen several movie versions but have never read it.
I just finished The Botany of Desire: A Plant's-Eye View of the World, by Michael Pollan and have just started Gray Mountain by John Grisham, next will be another Michael Pollan book, The Omnivore's Dilemma: A Natural History of Four Meals.

I just finished struggling through Ulysses, and I'm simply not up for dealing with more difficult dialogue. I'll give it a try some other time.
Yeah As I Lay Dying was also a difficult read for me because of the dialogue, but I managed to finish it.
I'm reading a collection of short stories by Joy Williams, titled HONORED GUEST (2004). There are 12 stories.
I'm reading Miami Blues and Kafka on the Shore. I am going to try to get to Flags in the Dust for another group, but it might have to wait till next year.
now reading The Clan of the Cave Bearbeen wanting to read this for years. enjoying it immensely.
want to try and get Love in the Time of Cholera read before jan as well but i think im running out of time
I know that we are quickly approaching the end of the year, but if anyone needs an inspiring book for the new year, I would strongly suggest All The Light We Cannot See by Anthony Doerr. Absolutely captivating; so few adjectives grasp the power of this novel to incite emotion and feeling in the reader.
