Just wrapped this up, really enjoyed. It's written in a really breathless, enthusiastic way which was really endearing. Almost like he couldn't stop getting excited about the next fact.
I loved the part about humans being able to interpret how the forest feels, will definitely try that.
I'm also going to explore the UK ancient woodlands. I'm planning a Wales trip later in the year, I've always wanted to go to the temperate rainforest.

I didn't enjoy this last section as much as the first two, I'm not a hundred percent sure why but I do think I wanted more info about the way trees communicate because I found that fascinating in the first part.
I did find it interesting how trees migrate and also finding out about the damage even a small amount of frost can do to a tree and like you said the idea that people can tell how the forest feels.
Overall I enjoyed this book.
Now you say it I felt the same way. I think I got everything from the first 2/3 and the last 1/3 was a bit like filler. Decent but not as inspiring somehow. It's s short book though and overall some genuinely amazing things I've learned from it

I feel like I've learned a lot from it too. The biggest thing I got from it was definitely learning that trees do communicate and how it's done and that they look after and help each other like a family. Really blew my mind.
