I’m too scared to look!

Sharon Kallenberger Marzola | 2090 comments I removed a lot from my TBR a few years ago. Many were added when authors had contests; I know I was never going to read them. My list is still too long.

Christine, that is a good idea to add paperbacks I haven't read. I receive a lot of books as gifts, and some that I picked up when I walked through the bookstore.

Anita (anitanodiva) | 4008 comments I've got books on there that I've had since the dawn of Goodreads!

Christina T.: you have several books I've read and that are 5-Star for me.
Jude's Law
Pink Jinx
Hot Stuff
Crazy Hot I'm so bummed that Tara Janzen stopped writing.
Have You Seen Her?

Christina T (crysteena73) | 558 comments Sharon, I have been reading so much on my kindle and listening to audiobooks so the unread paperbacks I've owned for 10-20some years have been gathering dusty. Last year I gave away over 1000 books and I still have an unmanageable amount. I'm looking into another purge soon. In the mean time I'm hoping to read these to get them off my TBR for good.

Anita I've read several of the other Jinx books and loved them so I'm hoping to . I've had the Tara Janzen series in my TBR forever which had been recommended to me by someone well over 15 years ago. So glad you liked them and that is a bummer she isn't writing anymore. I knew I hadn't seen anything new in a while from her. I wonder why she stopped. Karen Rose is highly recommended by so many people and I really liked the first book, I just never got around to reading more.

Robin (robinmy) | 3473 comments LOL. I have the Tara Janzen series in my TBR too. I have more books than I'll ever read in this lifetime...and I keep picking up more at various library sales and paperbackswap. Then, of course, there are kindle books that I pick up for a good price.

I think you'll like the Karen Rose book. Most of them are pretty good.

Anita (anitanodiva) | 4008 comments I pared down my paperback horde too. I decided that if I could get the same book as an e-book from the library there was no reason for me to own the book, especially since I'm not big on rereading.

The Tara Janzen books are fantastic. I've bought those as e-books and I'm still hanging on to them as paperbacks. This is a series I will reread.

Christina T (crysteena73) | 558 comments I can't find my copy of Pink Jinx so I had to swap it out for Wild Jinx because I know exactly where that one is. I'll have to see if I can get a copy of the missing book from the library some day.

Have you read the other Cajun Series books? If not, you may not want to read Wild Jinx. It is Tee-John's book and it is great, even more so if you've read the other books.

Christina T (crysteena73) | 558 comments Anita--I've read 3 or 4 of them but not in any specific order. I've really liked the ones I've read and didn't realize she continued writing the series past the Jinx books so it looks like I have a dozen or so books yet to read in the series. Tante Lulu cracks me up!

Anita (anitanodiva) | 4008 comments Sandra Hill writes romance just how I like it. Romance, humor and a touch of mystery/suspense. Not much angst and always fun. I just finished #9, The Cajun Doctor.
