Haha!I like the 'purchased this month one year ago' category! I guess most of my books would fit under there though, so not sure if it would work for me.

Yeah, I saw a booktuber doing that and it seemed a good way to tackle my backlog. The first time I tried it I ended up choosing A Game of Thrones which I had bought in Novemer 5 years ago. I still haven't managed to listen to it! The narration just isn't pulling me in.
Currently reading:The Silent Patient for card 22, Science - Nay Task - The theme of the book is medical.
Conclave - for January challenge
I've just finished The Paths Between Worlds. I enjoyed the plot although it wasn't well written. I signed up to UK kindle unlimited for the crazy price of 99p for 3 months so I'm trying to get my moneys worth LOL. Anyway, that book is on there, with narration. Unfortunately book 2 of the duology has no audio .... yet. I'm hoping that it will come in time. Book one was read by Kate Reading. I don't enjoy Kates narration style but is very professional. In this case I found that listening at 1.25x improved the experience.
I'm now starting Girl Number One as part of my resolve to get through some of the books that have been on my shelves for longest. Every month I am going to pick from that shelf that was purchased during the same month one, or more, years ago. I'll get there eventually 😁
Finished Girl Number One. It was pretty bad. The plotting was both clumsy and predicted. The narration must have been one of the worst I've ever heard. It was read in a really bad, fake cornish accent.Starting The Mermaid and Mrs. Hancock. I will have to look up the catagory but it a for the task that requires a penguin book.
Fool's Errand was very good but not the 5 star start to the series that I'd hoped for. Great plot, great characters, but a couple of plot twists that didn't make much sense lost it a star for me. Still two books to go though so here's hoping :-)

Read a book that take place on a beach, lake, or ocean. A seaside town will work as long as the body of water is mentioned.

Read a book where the MC is a scientist or has a main page genre of science (not science fiction)

Hmm, probably want to move The Constant Princess to card 1 as Followers is a great fit for card 18, face in profile.
