Introduction and request

Hello, I am Robert Lee Beers, an author and an illustrator. I have two fantasy series, 1 epic and one noir with a strong humor thread in it. I am seeking people interested in reviewing those genres. I will not pay for a review because that would be getting an ad, not an honest review and I do not have a marketing budget.

Paperback is also known as hard-copy. Google play uses epub, which I can easily send you. I will need your email address and which title you want. My email for books is asmbeers@gmail.com.

Would you review my book if I review yours? See below. I like the kind of book I believe the Tony Mandolin series represents. I love the old film noir movies. Gosh! Somebody has to bring that genre back to the movies. Many novice authors and readers who are prone to post reviews on literary websites are unaware that a Federal Trade Commission (FTC) regulation requires that any review obtained through compensation in any form such as a free book, gift card, cash, offer of a reciprocal review, etc., etc. must include a comment clearly stating the receipt of such compensation.

The vast majority of readers, for whatever reason, choose to never rate or review. Those that do are merely expressing their subjective, and therefore, personal opinion. One reader's "Best book ever!" could very well be another's "Worst book ever!".

The vast majority of novice authors never achieve commercial success within this extremely competitive field. That said; some have and others no doubt will. There is no reason why you might not eventually prove to be one of those who do succeed. I wish you success.

Author review swaps violate Amazon TOS. Not to mention some find them unethical and just... icky...

I will never ask anyone to review one of my books as part of a deal. I have no problem sharing works, but posting a review is entirely a matter of choice. My email remains as it was posted.
