Andrew Mioni | 5 comments Hi Robin,

Thanks so much for putting this offer out there for us! Looks like you have your hands full for the moment, but if you're not too backed up, I have a collection of short stories you may be interested in. There are 6 stories, 4 of which are scifi/dystopian, 1 superhero(ish), and 1 fantasy(ish). Only 73 pages, so they could probably be read in an hour or so. (No horror stories, not part of a series, and I don't have a date I need it by.) Here is the Amazon blurb:

A cloned child questions his origins with a prejudiced stranger. A scavenger reminisces in a scorched wasteland on what exactly scorched the wasteland. A poster child for a meat-free society smells a steak and asks a few too many questions. A certain sheriff triumphs (temporarily) over a certain outlaw archer. A college kid can fly but is scared of heights. In a followup to the opening story, clone soldiers banter about the meaning of life.

If this is something you'd be interested in, let me know! The Kindle version is 99 cents, or the paperback is available if that's more up your alley. Again, thanks so much!

Andrea Hintz | 30 comments SEEKING BETA READERS FOR SPY/THRILLER BOOK, PERCEPTION AND DECEPTION III!
Comment, message, or email me at tesoroseries@gmail.com if interested in a free PDF copy in exchange for your honest review! This is the third book in a spy series, however, the first two books do not need to be read to get into the story. Each book has a stand-alone case to solve, so you won't get lost starting here.

See the official book trailer here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zk5nM...

Synopsis:
Twenty-two year old Faith Evans is a former special agent for the Real Life Immersion Program, an organization that the FBI calls upon in the midst of unsolvable cases. After being betrayed by RLIP, she decides to cut ties with them permanently and move on to a normal life. So when she’s asked to return to the agency to help with a difficult case, her immediate answer is no. However, she soon discovers that the case involves the kidnapping of her former partner's teenaged grandson, Paul Spencer. There’s no way she can stay away and sit quietly.

Paul was being groomed to become a future tech agent, but having computer hacking skills of his caliber at such a young age may have exposed him to a dangerous cybercrime ring that wants to use him for something life shattering. The agency suspects that Paul’s computer club classmates may have been the associated link. Faith is the only agent young enough to pass as a high school student and must befriend Paul’s classmates to find out what’s going on. But when politicians suddenly get involved, this case may be far more twisted and dangerous than she initially realized. On top of everything else, RLIP seems to be attempting to recruit Faith's new husband, Ashton Mathis, into the agency.

Goodreads page: https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/5...

***This book will be released sometime around early May. I'm looking for readers to beta read the book for feedback as well as writing and posting reviews on Amazon and Goodreads within a two day window of the book release so that it gives the book a jumpstart in the way of rankings. I would give you a free PDF copy of the book within the coming weeks, then you would write your honest review and wait to post it until the two day window.

Daniel Newwyn | 11 comments Hi there!

I just published a contemporary romance novella called 'The Colour of Your Voice'. It has climbed to #9 in Amazon Free YA Short category, and I've spent a lot of time on making it the best possible version. You can find the details here:

https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/5...

Let me know if you're interested, and I will send you a free copy! There's no smut in the book :)

message 77: by Daniel (new)

Daniel Newwyn | 11 comments Hello!

I was wondering if you would be willing to give my romance novelette a go? My book is a contemporary romance novelette (200 words away from being a novella, so about ~16800 words), so it's a very short and hopefully satisfying read.

The Colour of Your Voice

This is the synopsis:

"Violet Pham can see the colour of sounds. Ever since she knew it, everything she heard carried a shade. She spent hours pouring her pencil sketches on paper, glaring at the milky white rays in the air dangling around, wrapping the mossy green blobs emanating from her mother's voice.

She was born to become a painter. But her faith keeps getting tested by her classmates and mother. "You can't do anything right," they tell her. She begins to question herself. Once she does, there is only one solution: run away from everything.

That is when she meets Turner Nguyen.

Turner is everything Violet wishes she is: an iron will and a flint heart. There is only one thing wrong about him — he's a gangster, the scummy type. He barges into gang wars. He beats people up for money. He smuggles drugs.

Soon, they learn that a romance of two castaways is a recipe for disaster. Slowly, their lives take turns for the worse."

I understand that you might be busy, and I totally understand if you think that my book won't be a good fit. But if you're interested, please let me know!

Best wishes,

Daniel

Marcus Seitz Hello Robin,

I have a book called "Coronavirus: Race for the Cure" which could use a review. A synopsis is below:

Two scientists in a desperate race against time: can they develop a vaccine to combat the coronavirus ravaging the globe?
Wang Jing, a director at the Wuhan Institute of Virology in central China, has designed her whole life to prepare for such a moment. Living in the epicenter of the pandemic, she must focus all her energy to save her ancestral country.
On the other side of the globe, Bryce Paton, director of the Virology Laboratory at the National Institutes of Health, is eager to join the fight. His determination is amplified when the virus threatens those he adores the most.
With the death count increasing every day, the sense of urgency is overwhelming. Institutions, universities, laboratories, and foundations are all rushing to develop a cure before the entire population becomes decimated. The search becomes personal as family, friends, and loved ones succumb to the deadly disease described as COVID-20.
Will a cure be discovered in time?

Please let me know if you are interested and I will send you a copy.

Thanks.

Marcus

Here is the Blurb and thank you for taking the time to read like you do. It is beyond appreciated.

True love knows no boundaries, it sees no color, even if that love is forbidden. Believing that got Eden’s mom, Echo killed at the age of sixteen, and the identity of Eden’s father was one of many secrets she took to the grave. Instead of moving on, Echo’s soul moved in. With her mother’s presence in her body, Eden can feel Echo’s emotions and hear her thoughts. When Eden tells, pseudo father, Uncle Daryl, about the voice in her head, it takes her down a road that leads to a diagnosis of multiple personalities. Now at seventeen, Eden has a secret love affair of her own with Drew. If Uncle Daryl ever found out the consequences would rip them apart, but that’s the least of Eden’s problems. As new clues surface surrounding her father’s identity, Eden finds herself on a dangerous path that could answer her paternity questions and the mysteries of her mother’s death, but at what cost? Eden can feel the weight of the secrets Echo keeps from her—secrets that have Echo’s killer returning after seventeen years with a mind to make history repeat itself.

Michael Dane | 7 comments Hi Robin,
I would love for you to be the first person to review my new novel, THE CURSE OF THE SPIDER-RIDERS. It is a 43,000 word MG fantasy and is under review from KDP for amazon as we speak, though I will happily send you an ebook to read.

In a hive nestled amongst the treetops of a wooded mountain, a colony of faeries lead a life of peace. Unbeknown to them, an army of bloodthirsty monsters gather in the tunnels below. Monsters molded by darkness and forged into savage warriors. Consumed by hatred, they prepare to launch an attack on the hive. Battle-hardened creatures all, they have little fear for their future…

But they should. For in the gloom, Jakoby, an eleven-year-old boy, stumbles across their plan. He will do anything to stop the slaughter, even if it means laying down his own life.

But the burrows whisper truths long since buried. Truths which expose a different side to the faeries.

A darker side.

I do not have a deadline for the review, I would love it anytime, if you get a chance.

Regards,

Michael

Lisa Matthews (lisa_matthews) | 28 comments Hi there,

I hope you're OK.

I was wondering if you would be interested in reviewing my light-hearted crime mystery book, Death By Curiosity, which was published on 8th February this year?

It follows Armitage Black, a 26-year-old Police Typist who becomes involved in the case of Elodia Knight, a lady responsible for several murders under the guise of being a witch. Knowing that witches aren't real, Armitage is determined to find out how Knight is making herself appear to have powers. But by digging into the murders and what Knight is up to, she finds herself targeted by Knight, who isn't going to let anyone get in her way - no matter the cost.

The book was published on 8th February, so there's no pressing need as such - however, as I'm still drumming up publicity and awareness of it, please could we maybe say late June? If this is something that would be of interest to you, please just let me know and I'll send the ebook and cover over to you :)

He’s the boy who wants to disappear.

One mistake & seventeen-year-old Shake LeCasse lost everything. Now there’s no going back and no way to move forward. The once-popular hockey captain is living in the basement of a grandmother he barely knows, ditching school, avoiding friends & working hard on self-destruction.

She’s the girl nobody sees.

Cleo Lee survives however she can. Lie, cheat, steal, & saving Mr. Popular isn’t part of the plan. Telling him the truth about the night that destroyed his life is downright dangerous. She needs to keep quiet, be smart and let the guy she’s been half in love with since middle school throw away a future she’d do anything to have. Too bad her heat can’t resist, no matter the cost.

Zella Blanche | 4 comments Hi Robin,

Thanks so much for offering your review services! I'm looking for reviewers for my psychological thriller book, Glass Domes. It follows a pandemic, told through the point of view of the scientist who created the disease. It's about 70,000 words long.

"I was a good child. I was a good student. I was a good scientist. No, I was a great scientist. I never meant to kill anyone. All I ever wanted to know if brains could be made bigger.

And now it’s too late. It’s out there, somewhere, somehow, killing too many, killing too few. I don’t know if I should be proud or guilty. I don’t know if I want to help. I mean, I should help, right? Destroy my legacy before it destroys my world?"

Cheers,

Maya Zebley | 7 comments Hi Robin,

Thank you for your offer, I would love for you to review my book Criminal Composition:

Criminal Composition by Maya Zebley

The FBI recruits a music therapist as an undercover agent to investigate a brutal murder case. . .
Dafna Armstrong is a 30-year-old, single music therapist who is dedicated to providing music therapy sessions to her hospice patients. On a whim, she attends an FBI recruiting session led by Agent Cobain. In a surprising move, Dafna joins the investigation team just to get closer to Agent Cobain, even though she remains in doubt about her skills as an undercover FBI agent.

AJ is their suspect. He is a famous rock star who became a criminal suspect when his past love interest disappeared. Although the FBI questioned him, no clear evidence was found connecting him to his lover’s disappearance. As soon as AJ was no longer considered a suspect, he fled to the Philippines, but years later he comes back to the USA to receive aggressive treatment for his recent cancer diagnosis. Upon his return, Agent Cobain sees an opportunity to re-open the case. To allow for a thorough investigation and aiming for a confession, the FBI manipulates AJ’s medical files. He is told that he has less than six months to live and is admitted to hospice care where he meets Dafna, the music therapist.

Now, who will be the first one to discover the loophole in the criminal case?

The book is currently for sale at Amazon https://amzn.to/2xo5GPi
and Goodreads https://bit.ly/3cyFiR9 in both paperback and eBook formats.

If you are interested in reading it, I will happily send you a copy. Let me know. Thanks again. Maya.
