Rereading the Lord of the Rings trilogy + hopefully the Silmarillion.
I'd love to read all Black authors in February + all LGBTQ+-centered books in June.
I received a good-sized stack of new books for Christmas that I'd love to get through, if I can make them work with all the group challenges I've got going (eeep!)
+ read more Shakespeare (particularly the history plays)
+ finish my Jasper Fforde backlog
+ finish the Temeraire series
+ finish the Broken Earth trilogy
+ continue the Pendergast series
Great topic!!
I just hit my goal of 120 books for 2019 so may bump it up to 125 for 2020.
I need to concentrate on reading the books I have (just received over 50+ books from Jenny and Jen for our book advent exchange, not to mention the 100's of unread books I have on my shelves, on my kindle, and on audible. So.....
I want to mix it up and try to read an equal amount of advent books/non-advent books on my TBR/shiny penny books (new books)/and rereads of favorites (I accept that I sometimes need to reread some of my old books!)
I'm a mood reader so I won't tie myself down with series or certain books if I'm not feeling them. I have a HUGE collection of books so will look for my next read in the categories I mentioned above.
I'd like to say that I'll stop buying books until I make a dent in the books I already have, but I'd be lying to myself. 😂

I'm totally with you on that! I tried telling myself that once. After I was done laughing at myself, I abandoned the idea, knowing I'd never stick to it. Haha!

I don't have any other reading goal for 2020, though I would like to try and focus at least a large chunk of my reading on those titles I've had sitting on my Kindle the longest, so will focus on those each time I'm trying to decide on my next read. Or try to anyway, since I know there will be newer books that insist on being read first sometimes. I'm sure you know how it is. ;)

My goal is to get through the huge TBR pile I have right now. I want to do some more re-reads, but going to try and push those until closer to summer. I also want to tackle my back log of Owcrate books. So I’ll be reading a mix of Owlcrate and non-Owlcrate books while also throwing in some Harry Potter re-reads, which is the only re-read I’m allowing myself before summer.
Good luck all, great goals! It's crazy I can barely get through a handful of books in a year after regularly hitting the 100 mark for several years. I'm shooting for a book every two months, but even that might be a challenge. Between writing and publishing, family stuff, and my addiction to Netflix/Prime/Hulu/Disney+, there's not much time for reading, but I manage to squeeze in a few minutes before I fall asleep each night. I'm reading a lot of Epic Fantasy (currently juggling
and
) and hope to read more of these types of books this year. It's going to be another busy one! Happy New Year!

I've been reading less over the past couple of years too. There are so many other things to find time for.

A Mark of Kings (other topics)Cradle: Foundation (other topics)
Do you have any goals?
I decided to read minmum 1 lgbtq+ book each month, and read ONLY that during june for pride.
Kinda want to read only romances in february.
