Jake's Dorm

[Eden, Headmistress Bianca]

He was still not sure so he took a few moments before going to the front door, while cursing.

He shook his head because he really couldn't. His lips tipped up but didn't reach the point were they it could be called a smile.

He took the last step between them and wrapped her up in his arms. "Don't," he shook his head. "Don't leave me." He whispered.

He kissed her head but didn't let her go. He didn't want to either.

"Let's go inside," he said quietly before pulling her in and closing the door.

He sighed, "i'm sorry. I just.. That happens.." He didn't know what he was trying to say.

"The shutting down," he said quietly.

[Eden, Headmistress Bianca]

"Yes," he said, looking down at her.

He rubbed his jaw, "it's.. Kind of like turning off a switch."

He sat onto the couch, "Its kind of am involuntary reaction these days."

"It doesn't happen a lot," he continues quietly. "Just when I'm in hell, then it's idk."

"I'm the only one of them.. That was once human and can still remember it," He swallowed, "Lucifer likes picking on me."

He was going to start rambling and he knew it. "I don't want to be Lucifer," he shook his head and stood up, walking to the windowsill to stare out.

"Not yet," he said. "You want to kill Lucifer?"

He shrugged, since she didn't want to kill him, there was no point in trying to explain.

He shook his head, "forget about it. Let's go to sleep," he said, "I'm exhausted."

He got up and pulled her up.

He took her back into the room and crawled in bed, making room for him.

He swallowed before reaching over her to the nightstand. He opened the first drawer and took out some pills, currently not caring that she would see him.

He took two out and put the rest into the drawer. "Sleeping pills," he half lied.

He swallowed the pills and lay back down, wrapping his arms around her waist and pulling her to his chest.

He kissed the back of her neck and rested bag, burying his face in the curve of her neck.

He took a while to fall asleep, despite his restless mind. At least he did fall asleep.

He shifted a little and pulled her closer, unlike usual he didn't wake up.

"Bali.." He murmured in his sleep as if trying to wake her and as if he knew he couldn't wake up. "Bali."

"Bali," he murmured, louder as he clutched onto her waist.

He shifted closer to her, murmuring her name one last time.

He pulled her closer.

He sighed in his sleep, shifting and tightening his arms around her.

"Bali," he murmured softly in his sleep as he got caught in his own nightmare.

In his dream, he was back in hell. He was in Lucifer's place and no one knew him as Jake. Then Bali appeared and she was staring at him with disdain. He was screaming at her to recognize him and see through his façade but she didn't.

He rolled onto his side, calming down.

His eyes fluttered open.

He smiled softly and looked at her. He nodded.

"No," he lied, not wanting to worry her.

He nuzzled her neck, closing his eyes to breath in her scent.

"I love you too, Bali," he said quietly.

"I promise," he said then paused. "Promise to do the same?"

He smiled and kissed her lips softly.

"Where you going?" He sat up and stretched, feeling better than the night before.

"Where?" He asked curiously.

He laughed softly and stood up, stretching.
