Who completed the 2019 Reading Challenge?

I think I completed them all, but some of my choices may not fit the category perfectly. For example, for the history book told in graphic novel format, I read The Handmaid’s Tale and The Giver. Both are dystopians, so not technically history, but I consider both classics. I was going to read The Diary of Anne Frank, but never got around to it. Also for the #ownvoices story that takes place in Central or South America, I chose The House on Mango Street. This features a young girl growing up in the Latino section of Chicago. It includes much about Latino culture, but takes place in America. Other than these two, I think I completed everything else. Great challenge!
I have 4 prompts left & have decided it's ok to let them go. I actually started books for 3 of them but for whatever reason wasn't able to finish. I didn't use any books twice & I think this challenge really helped me read books for ME since I read so many with my young daughter usually! Although, scanning the list it appears I used quite a few former reading crate books too. :) New favorites - the March series by John Lewis & The Invention of Hugo Cabret.
I did a good chunk but left 10ish out. I did manage to hit my highest reading goal ever though and chose lots of books as they called my name;)

I came pretty close. I have 6 challenges left that I didn't complete, and I doubt I'll manage to get to them at this point. But overall I'm pretty happy with what I did accomplish!
How did you do? What was your favorite book of the year? (Mine was Lovely War by Julie Berry, which was for the challenge "A book that is similar either in theme or story to your favorite tv show or movie".)
Did you discover a new favorite because of the challenge?
