Yay! I'm excited to start this today! I really wish I had the audio book, because I have a ton to do today and tomorrow and I could listen at the same time. But I don't, so I'll probably only get a bit done today.

I'm still #4 on 1 copy at the library. I'm going to HPB tonight to find another book, so I'll look there for it. If I don't find it, I won't be upset if you guys start without me.

Sara, don't feel too bad. I was 32 in the queue for another book and now I'm 17...weeks later. LOL

Has anyone started this yet? I started it and am about to read some more, but I don't know if I'll be able to finish it just now, because I'll be away from home from the 5th to the 23rd and I'm in a frenzy of packing and buying last minute things and I have my online classes on top of that.

I couldn't read before the new year, because I suddenly had to do 5 exams, each lasting 3 hours, between the 27th and the 31st. :D

But I have read the first chapter or so and it's very intriguing, I want to read more so badly, I just fear I won't be able to finish before I leave and I'm not taking physical books with me.
I hope I do get it done though :)

I'm behind on everything, so I haven't started it; however, I'd like to read it! I'm still trying to juggle holiday interruptions, my grading, and other "stuff."

When would be easiest for you to read it?

I would love to read this one still, but I'm still waiting from the library..

Maybe when you get your book I'll be good to go. I'm actually still waiting for mine too. For some reason I thought I had an ebook of it but I don't. Lol

Vicki, it's funny how things have a way of getting mixed up. That's how it is for book lovers, keeping track is sometimes a challenge, especially with ebooks! :D

I recently bought an ebook on Amazon that I later found out I already had, just not from Amazon! Luckily they have a good return policy :D

I really do want to try and read it before I leave, but if I don't I still want to read it when I get back :)
Maybe we should just push it back since you both don't have your books yet?

And it really is hard sometimes keeping track.. I now have a color system to keep track of all my books. haha

I love that idea of a color system. How do you do it?

I'm all for pushing it out but I'd like to read it before the end of January for the Battle of the Books IF I can!

I guess it's up to the both of you. If I don't read it now, I won't be able to get to it til sometime after the 28th or so. And that's a bit too late.

But you can both decide on any date to read it and I'll just try to finish it now and I'll join in on the conversation when you start reading it. I will have internet when I'm gone from home, I just won't have the book :)

I use different colors for each group I'm in, mark down all the books in a planner. That way when I want to comment, I know what group it's in and also I know when I need to start each book.

What would you like to do Vicki? I mean if you guys want to start without me it's no big deal. I completely understand.

I started reading it again yesterday, I'm 10 chapters in and I have sooo much I want to talk about! :D So much has already happened. But I'm making notes, so whenever you both read it, I can join in with information at specific chapters, knowing what went on in those chapters. :D

For now it's enough to just get my thoughts down in notes. But I really wanted to read it before leaving so I don't have to wait til February. Ah, not much time, I have about 30 hours til I leave, and I still have to finish packing. :D

Has anyone else read any of this? I decided not to post my spoilers, because it turns out I was right about all my guesses. Even if they're just guesses in the chapters I wrote them for, it could still ruin a lot of the fun. :D

I did finish this a long time ago, though. Like on the 5th or 6th or something.

Lieniitte, I haven't gotten to this one. I have been so busy with the addition of tablets at our school and having to go to training for them and learning new programs and creating lesson plans. It's taken over my life! Sorry I've been such a bad buddy recently. :o(

Me neither. We've been so busy at work recently. Late nights and weekend hours.. Plus I've have a lot of buddy reads this month. I think I'm going to have to try to pick this up in Feb when it's not so hectic.

We all have those extremely busy times and sometimes we just have to cancel buddy reads for any number of reasons. I'm going to have to back out of a couple of February ones too, it seems. It's not like we have a contract :D

I got a bit busy this month too. I had been planning on reading at least 10 books, but I've only gotten through 6 so far. Busy, busy. :D
