So, Joe, been meaning to ask...other than the band you saw a few years back that inspired you to write this, what else made you decide to delve into such a dark and twisted topic?

Lol. Just Joe. The NY club started me on the track of researching, Le Grand Guignol - Nineteenth Century Paris. I sat on it for a long time before becoming preoccupied with the concept of a doomed pilot using the aircraft's black box as a last minute dying declaration of sorts. I married the two elements by creating a secret society approach. Think Kubrick's, Eyes Wide Shut.
