This may sound picky and I don't mean to denigrate your writing, but it does seem like your proofreader misses some important things. For example: (not a direct quote) "Jude drove Brad and I to the parking lot." Do you see how this is wrong? All you have to do is break it down into 2 sentences----Jude drove Brad to the parking lot, or Jude drove I to the parking lot. See it now? It's not a sin to use the word "me" when me is actually correct.
