1 4 star read this month and 7 3 star reads. A pretty average month, enjoyable but nothing amazing.

Brittany | 6451 comments Mod
Mount tbr decreased because I changed my shelves around and added a freebies unread shelf that I am slowly adding all my free kindle books to so this lowered my regular tbr. Went from 919 to 838

390 freebies added

Liliana (lililostinabook) | 2893 comments Mod
Oooh that's a smart idea to split up your freebies!

message 60: by Brittany (new)

Brittany | 6451 comments Mod
Yeah I think it will help me find things better..... at least in theory

message 61: by Anna (new)

Anna | 36 comments That’s a great idea, Britt. I love reorganizing/recategorizing my GR shelves. I included DNF and Maybe shelved so they don’t get mixed up with my To-Read shelf.

I finished A Court of Thorns and Roses (A Court of Thorns and Roses, #1) by Sarah J. Maas on audio and am almost done a bunch of other books.

Will update everything else another day... or week...

Finished Bitterblue (Graceling Realm, #3) by Kristin Cashore fantastic end to that series. Glad I finally read it! I finally finished a series!! And a book over 500 pages! Woo!!

message 64: by Liliana, YA Paranormal Lover (new)

Liliana (lililostinabook) | 2893 comments Mod
Hurray for your first finished series! Big books are always intimidating to me, so I always feel accomplished when I finish a big book like that 😂

message 65: by Brittany (new)

Brittany | 6451 comments Mod
Me too Lili, I love them 'cause they have so much more story but they are so intimidating to start.

message 66: by Brittany (new)

Brittany | 6451 comments Mod
I read Zodiac Starforce Volume 1 By the Power of Astra by Kevin Panetta cute, great artwork but not original at all.

message 67: by Sonnie (new)

Sonnie (sonnie2006) Ohhh I LOVED A Court of Thorns and Roses so much more than Throne of Glass! And that's one series that just gets better and better with each book. I saw your review and I loved Lucien too. He was my favorite <3

I need to reorganize my GR shelves too. Idk when I'll have the time though because I feel like it will take FOREVER lol. It's so daunting.

message 68: by Brittany (new)

Brittany | 6451 comments Mod
I do my reorganizing in little bits. Ill start and then come back and continue days later. Otherwise, ya, way too daunting.

Good to hear you loved it Sonnie.

On a nonbookish note, I've gone back to doing yoga and going to try and complete one of these 30 day yoga challenges. Finished day 2 today and so far its feeling pretty wonderful.

message 70: by Sonnie (new)

Sonnie (sonnie2006) That's cool Britt! What is your challenge from? I want to try Yoga, but I need like a VERY BEGINNER video/ class lol. All it's done is rain here so I'm not able to get out and walk to do any exercise and it is showing lol.

message 71: by Brittany (new)

Brittany | 6451 comments Mod
Doing it with Yoga with Adrienne. Love her stuff.
Try this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v7AYK... or any of her other beginner videos.

message 72: by Anna (new)

Anna | 36 comments I wear yoga pants all the time but have never actually tried doing yoga. I really should give it a try too!
I’ve started to read Court of Roses twice (got about 1/3 of the way) but can’t seem to get through it. :( I’ll try it one more time this year!

message 73: by Brittany (new)

Brittany | 6451 comments Mod
Its got some real slow parts Anna, the narrator is decent though!

Try it out. Love my yoga! I also do wine yoga occasionally with one of my friends.

message 74: by Sonnie (new)

Sonnie (sonnie2006) Um, I just want to say Wine Yoga sounds amazing! I've heard of Goat Yoga too and I want to do that! It sounds like so much fun!
And thanks Britt! I'll give it a try!

That’s great Britt. I’ve started running again and on Monday was my first boxercise class and it was so much fun.

Anna, I can totally understand the not getting through ACOTAR. I personally adored that series but book 2 is what makes the series and often if you get through book 1 you’ll love it. It’s a shame you need to push through it to get to the amazing parts though.

message 76: by Brittany (new)

Brittany | 6451 comments Mod
Woo! Awesome on the running Kay! Ooo boxercise sounds like fun also.

Let me know how you find it Sonnie! And yes, wine yoga is fabulous. I want to go do goat yoga, or alpaca yoga or anything with fuzzy friends really.

message 77: by Sonnie (new)

Sonnie (sonnie2006) Ohh Kay that sounds like so much fun! I wish we had a gym close by me with classes like that!

message 78: by Anna (new)

Anna | 36 comments I’m gonna give another try this year, Kay! Especially since it’s supposed to get better.
Have fun with your yoga & wine, Britt!

I finished Second Star (Neverland Transmissions, #1) by J.M. Sullivan and started Destined for an Early Grave (Night Huntress, #4) by Jeaniene Frost

So I am still starting far too many series, at least this one is only a dualogy!

message 80: by Sonnie (new)

Sonnie (sonnie2006) Ohhh Kat and Bones!!! I LOVE those books so much!

For the year Ive currently started for series and finished one so a net of +3....

TBR only went up 1 book from jan to feb

I only finished 5 books in February, no 5 star reads still. Best book of the month is tied between Bitterblue and Court of Thorns and Roses

Here's to a better March!

message 85: by Liliana, YA Paranormal Lover (new)

Liliana (lililostinabook) | 2893 comments Mod
5 books is pretty great! When I'm in a really bad reading slump sometimes I only get one book read 😬 But yes, I hope you have a better March! 😊

message 86: by Brittany (new)

Brittany | 6451 comments Mod
4 of those were books I started the month part way through and the 5th was a comic. But yeah, I have had worse reading months too.
Thanks!! It has to go up from here, both reading and life in general!

Sonnie (sonnie2006) Congrats on finishing 1984 Britt! I wouldn't have been able to finish even one book if I was reading that for the month lol. I just couldn't get into it.

message 95: by Anna (new)

Anna | 36 comments Great job, Britt! You know I can relate on 1984. Since then I’ve been struggling to get back into reading somewhat.
Yay for new books though!

Finished Library Wars Love & War, Vol. 5 (Library Wars Love & War, #5) by Kiiro Yumi good addition to the series! I've been on quite the manga/graphic novel kick this year.

Starting The Alloy of Law (Mistborn, #4) by Brandon Sanderson in hardcopy. See if this puts me back down the Sanderson rabbit hole....
