Millie normally chooses a guest in the audience to use as a focal point during her performance and this time she chooses Argent. Is this part of their inexplicable attraction?

Sandra Hoover (sandrahoover) | 397 comments Mod
Yes, I think so. She's drawn like a magnet to him...and he to her. You just know immediately that things have just gotten complicated for both characters. Most especially, Argent as he is supposed to kill her. The emotional turmoil begins immediately.

Anita (anitanodiva) | 2953 comments I think is was part of the inexplicable attraction. She was definitely drawn to him as a stranger in the audience. He was there on a recon mission to prep for killing her and found himself drawn to her too. You just know that something is going to happen.

Argent, as described, has a rather large presence and Millie was bound to sense him. I liked the coincidence.

Karen ♐ (kmk1214) | 909 comments I really liked this too. How she was drawn to him and him to her.

Lauren (laurenjberman) | 1803 comments Yes, he stood out to her.

Interestingly, this is technique that teachers are taught when lecturing to large groups. It is easier to focus on one face rather than many faces that can be disorienting.

I used to use this technique when giving presentations to groups that made me nervous. It works really, really well.

I have used this technique before also! It does help.

Charlene (charlenethestickler) | 1203 comments I agree about your comments, all, about their attraction.

I must point out, however, that as a Pastor/Preacher, I did not single out anyone in the congregation to focus on during the sermon portion of worship services. That would have been self-defeating, to say the least! :-)

Hahaha!

Lauren (laurenjberman) | 1803 comments Lol, Charlene!

Karen ♐ (kmk1214) | 909 comments Love it, Charlene!

Oh my goodness, Charlene! That's priceless! You made your point. haha

Charlene (charlenethestickler) | 1203 comments I might add that if I had someone in mind when I prepared a sermon, inevitably, they wouldn't be in worship that week! That "learned" me good....
