It's a shame about that stipulation then - they could lose business and as Krystal says, who knows what they want to eat so far in advance. And what happens if someone has to pull out? Do they still charge the organiser of the group with that amount as it's been ordered? Pretty dumb in my opinion :)

Hellooooo Everyone, sorry I have really been MIA and haven't been on here very much at all but would love to reconnect with you all. Thanks so much Nat, Tracey, Mary and Brenda for keeping me in the loop and thinking of me and Diana for including me. I would love to come to the next meet up. I will try and be a bit more active on here now that I know this is happening. I am in fairly regular contact with Nat, Mary and Tracey and Tracey did contact me about the last meet up but I wasn't able to attend then but I am free this time. Really looking forward to seeing you all again and to meet some new "bookish" friends. Michael I do hope you can make it. I haven't seen you in so long. :)

Hey All,I have some more awesome news... I am in contact with the wonderful Mish, who I have invited to our meet up as she no longer on GRs at present due to work commitments, however she will be coming :D ... So Diana can you please add Mish to the attending list and I'll update her on the meet up details...
Hooray! It's going to be so fab having Mish and Elaine back for the next GR catch-up! They were both there the first time I came along and did all the organising so this is going to be great fun :-)

Hey Nat that's awesome news. I have also been thinking of Mish and meaning to contact her as well but just keep getting distracted. It will be great to see her as well. Good job. :)

That was all Mish. Mind you I'm a bit forgetful these days so I may have had some input but I'm pretty sure it was Mish!!! Lol. :)

Messages of venue details going out now. I was delayed in NSW due to the flooding on the Central Coast! Rain, rain, rain every day but perfectly fine for a stitching weekend.

Hi Brenda, the venue is enormous and big enough to cater for our group and not require us all to squish together. The service was immediate, prices were excellent and the food was great. Some members have previously expressed preferences for seating, menu choices and prices, so it is difficult to find a place that mean's everyone's needs etc. This venue was ideal until this little obstacle.
