This challenge is meant to encourage the reading of science fiction books. However, it is not mandatory.
If you're thinking, "I don't read science fiction stories!", it's possible that you just don't realize you do.
Science fiction elements include: (from Wikipedia)
✪ A time setting in the future, in alternative timelines, or in a historical past that contradicts known facts of history.
✪ New and different political or social systems, such as utopian, dystopian, or post-apocalyptic.
✪ Abilities such as mind control, telepathy, telekinesis, such as "The Force" in Star Wars.
✪ Characters that include aliens, mutants, androids, or humanoid robots and other types of characters arising from a future human evolution.
✪ Futuristic or plausible technology, such as ray guns, teleportation machines, and humanoid computers.
✪ Scientific principles that are new or that contradict accepted physical laws, such as time travel, wormholes, or faster-than-light travel or communication.
✪ Scenes in outer space, on other worlds, or subterranean earth.

It doesn't really matter. I was planning on adding some sort of spacecraft to your thread name. Like, Sarah in a X-Wing. Just making a way to personalize your challenge.

I saw that. When I created her thread, I asked her which planet she'd like to start with. Hopefully that will take care of any confusion for her.

It's been pointed out to me that I have Mercury and Venus's positions in our Solar System backwards. Mercury is closest to the Sun, not Venus If you are currently working on either of the two planets and would like me to change the 5th task, let me know on your thread.

Amazon is advertising it as "Contemporary Romance Fiction", so I'm afraid it won't qualify as Historical. Sorry.
