"You mean that?" he asked, smiling at her. Did she like him as much as he liked her?
"Of course I mean it... I'm not one of those people who just says stuff to make people feel better.. I mean I will but that's not who I am," she replied
"How do I know that?' he asked, looking at her. He had been in similar situations before.
Gracie shrugged a little," I guess you just have to trust me until I either prove what I'm saying to you or disprove what I'm saying."
"Okay," he said, wanting her to prove it to him soon. He hoped she thought this was a date like he did.
"Although I'm not quite sure how to prove it to you." She muttered half to herself
"You can think about it," he said, He had an idea but he didn't want to rush it.
She nodded slightly as she looked at him," You look like you have a plan."
"Why do you think that?" he asked, blushing. Could she read his mind?
"Just because of the look on your face." She answered smiling a little seeing him blushing
"Okay," he said, looking into her eyes. He squeezed her hand softly and pulled her closer to him.
She raised her eyebrows just a little but nonetheless let him pull her closer to him. She wondered what he was up to
Kyle blushed as he saw her eyebrows raise. He just looked at her, not sure what to do.
Gracie just watched him for a little bit not sure what he wanted
"Am I rushing it?" he asked, wanting to make sure he wasn't freaking her out.
"Us," he said, blushing. Maybe this wasn't a date after all.
"Are you sure?" he asked, intertwining his fingers with hers. He wanted to kiss her so he could confirm she liked him for who he was.
She nodded a little," yeah." She answered looking at him
Kyle smiled at her, wanting to kiss her badly. He looked into her eyes, waiting for her answer.
Gracie looked over at him," What?" She asked with a little smile
"Can I kiss you?" he asked, squeezing her hand softly as he looked into her eyes.
"Dont you think it's a little early?" She asked him softly not entirely saying no to him yet
"Maybe," he said "That's why I was asking you."
"Well maybe we should wait until we know each other a little better." She told him gently
"Okay," he said. He had just wanted her to prove that she liked him. "Tell me about yourself," he said, rubbing his thumb on the top of her hand.
She watched him," Okay.. What do you want to know?" She asked
"Anything you want to tell me," he said, looking into her beautiful eyes.
She laughed softly," that doesn't help me," she told him with a smile
"I know but it's true," he said, chuckling and smiling back at her.
"Just ask me something... I don't know what to tell you." She told him
"Do you have any siblings?" he asked her.
"No I don't.. Do you have any siblings?" She asked him
"No," he said, looking at her "Do you do any sports?" he asked.
"I'm on the dance team and I do gymnastics.... If those count" she replied
"Those count," he said, smiling "Maybe you can teach me how to dance." he added "I am not much of a dancer."
She laughed softly," well some people don't count them as sports. " she answered," I can try to teach you, but I'm not that great of a teacher."
"All you can do is try," he said, smiling at her as he looked into her eyes.
She nodded a little bit," alright fine.. I'll try to teach you, but it might take me a bit." She told him softly
"Okay," he said. He wondered how she would teach him since he was in a wheelchair.
Gracie glanced over at his wheelchair for a second chewing on her lip while she was thinking," This might be harder than I thought" she muttered to herself
"I know," he said "Maybe you could just dance for me?" he asked.
She shrugged a little bit but nodded," Yeah I could."
"Wanna head back in?" he asked. He hoped his question didn't sound weird.
Se nodded," Yeah we can go back in if you want to." She answered
Kyle transferred back into his chair and took her and, going back inside.
Gracie smiled a little bit as she walked back into the house with him
Kyle smiled up at her and led her over to the dance floor, squeezing her hand softly.
