The story of Charlie's childhood friend Ramona, who died when they were seven, but stayed with Charlie for years afterwards touched me deeply - as did her comparison of that friendship to her friendship with Cookie. <3

Charlie, Reyes and Jessica (sigh) visit a camp where five people ere killed and the murders were never solved with SAC (snort). The girl who was never found (Lydia) led Charlie to her grave in the woods. When they heard a growl, Lydia told her that "The monsters...They were summoned. All Twelve of them."

Who do you think summoned the hounds?

It was very touching. Friends like Ramona and Cookie are precious.
I have my ideas on who it is but I don't want to say anything bc if it is true it may ruin the surprise in future books. And NO I have not read anything from 8th, just saying. :-) I'm very excited about 8th.

Tracy | 3 comments I love how we see a side of Reyes that isnt often seen. I know it drives Charley crazy but it is sweet justthe same.

Zannadobbs | 4 comments I found myself wishing there was a way to force Jessica to pass. She is muye annoying. That being said I am sure there is a reason fir her.

Angie Bee | 59 comments What if it's Mr. Wong? He worries me. And he definitely has a story to tell.

Ines (slayraa) | 684 comments Some demons crossed and possessed people, so I thought the hounds were also "sent" and not "summoned".

And Mr Wong? Oh, that is even more interesting! Because Charley cannot see Reyes for his true being, so she can't see Wong neither. Of course Reyes should be able to figure it out, but... Very interesting!

She's seen Reyes' darkness once or twice. I remember one was after that guy ran her off the road and tried to set her on fire.

Both he and the dealer have seen Mr. Wong's power. So, I'm guessing he's not really bad. Or can he suppress the evil if he is?

That is a very good question. I really hope he's there to protect even though he was at the house before Charley moved.

I like that these discussions make me think of the plot in more detail :)

Ahmya (ahmyasan) | 58 comments Mr Wong is powerful, it's the how all of it will unfold that i am very excited about!
