PSS: Part Six: Chapter 42-45

The parts in the Glasshouse were somewhat of an improvement. At this point, I just want the book to be over. I've actually taken to speed-reading it.

Isaac is the prominent character at this point which sucks because I find him to be obnoxious, grating, and a jackass. Mieville lost me with Isaac early on with the long monologue about the crisis engine and his energy theory thing. I'm not sure if Lin is actually dead or not but if she isn't, I have a feeling she's going to be killed, which is a shame because I liked her. The most interesting character is Yag and his storyline about flight has pretty much been dropped.

Man, what a misfire of a choice...

I loved this section of the book, which was relatively short and action packed. Then I got to part 7, which I shall bitch about shortly, in the appropriate section.

I dunno, I like Isaac. I think I am going to start calling people "old son" :) Listen, old son...
