Thank you both.My job may be interfering with my reading the rest of the year, so I may have to slow down. Stupid adult responsibilities!

Oh to be well off enough to be a reader of leisure.
I would be perfectly content to be paid to read as a full time job. Unfortunately, no one seems to want to hire me to do that.

The closest I got was editing a friend's book. (She got sick and passed away before she could publish. :o( ) That's not the same as being paid to read, but it was close.
Nice. Well, about being asked to edit. I'm sorry she didn't get to live to see it published.I've had a couple offers to be paid to edit, but I don't have the time and I'm not sure I'd enjoy the process enough to make it worth it to me.
