Guys... I'm having trouble enjoying this novella. Can anyone please explain me the salient points of the story? I've read few other Hemingways & they were absolutely kool. However, I'm not getting the point of this book. Please help!

The point of this book is you have to read Sherwood Anderson's Dark Laughter first. This book is a parody of it and only makes sense if you read the other first! Hemingway wrote it to break his contract with their mutual publisher knowing they wouldn't publish it, so he could move to Scribners to publish The Sun Also Rises.
