What is fascinating about this enigmatic civilization to us modern researchers is their gigantic, near perfectly carved heads. They seem to have features that are not typical of the region during that period. The more we find out about the Olmecs, the bigger the riddle surrounding them becomes.

EGYPT explorers uncovered two secret "doors" inside the Great Pyramid of Giza, which some archaeologists believe could be blocking a hidden chamber - but their true purpose has created more questions than answers.

Hi, could I ask you about "There is the old adage that the victors write history" where did you read it?

I also believe there was a civilization 300 millions years ago from my learning about many oopas found from that time period. I covered this in my book "A 300 Million Year Old Civilization Existed on Earth"
These are on my website at the link: https://mkettingtonbooks.com/ancient-...
Would love to hear peoples comments on this information

This is a fascinating and vital discussion. The question of scientifically advanced ancient civilizations is one I've been passionate about my entire life. The anomalies in the geological record, the impossible mathematics encoded in megalithic structures, and the recurring themes in our most ancient myths all point to a profound mystery at the dawn of human history.
As a way to explore these very questions, I recently published a sci-fi thriller that attempts to build a fictional, but scientifically plausible, "what if" scenario.
The novel, The Sentinel Project, is built on the premise that the evidence we see today is the echo of a lost, global science. It explores a 50,000-year-old history where the Giza pyramids were resonant machines, genetic memory is a real archive, and our myths are the distorted memories of that forgotten age.
If a fictional deep-dive into these topics sounds interesting to the group, I believe you'll find it resonates with many of the theories discussed here.
Looking forward to reading more of the group's insights.

Hello, and welcome to the group! Your introduction really resonates. You've perfectly captured the core of what drives so many of us here: the open-minded willingness to question the official narrative.
You are absolutely right—it is incredibly arrogant for us to assume we are the pinnacle of human evolution. The idea that ages of enlightenment can rise and fall is a powerful and humbling one.
It's fantastic that you're reading "The Giza Power Plant." That book is a cornerstone for anyone exploring the idea that ancient structures were built with a forgotten science. If you enjoy that line of thinking, you might be interested in a fictional deep-dive that explores a similar "what if" scenario.
My debut sci-fi novel, The Sentinel Project, is built on the very same question. It's a thriller that imagines the pyramids not as tombs or power plants, but as the last surviving pieces of a 50,000-year-old global network—a technology powered by human consciousness and genetic memory.
It’s great to have another thoughtful seeker in the group. I’m looking forward to hearing your thoughts as you continue your research!

Hello Tessa, and welcome to the group!
I just read your introduction, and it's clear you've found the right tribe here. Your interest in alternative historiography and how historical narratives can be twisted is a cornerstone of this community.
Your mention of von Däniken and the "ancient astronaut" theory is fascinating. It's a theory that has opened up so many important questions. In my own research, it led me to a slightly different "what if" scenario: What if the "astronauts" weren't aliens in the way we usually think, but were instead our own human ancestors—a precursor civilization whose forgotten, high-tech science is the true source of these ancient mysteries?
This "third option" is the central premise of my debut sci-fi novel, The Sentinel Project. If you enjoy devouring books that wrestle with those kinds of big, reality-bending questions, I have a feeling it would be right up your alley.
It's great to have another critical thinker in the group. I'm looking forward to the discussion!

Saroya, this is a fantastic and brilliantly articulated summary of the great mystery. You've woven together all the essential threads—the global network of megalithic structures, the evidence of a forgotten science based on harmonics and electromagnetism, the cataclysm, and the survival of ancient knowledge.
Your post perfectly captures the foundation of the research that led me to write my own debut novel. I was obsessed with the same question: if this global network was a form of technology, like a planetary circuit board, what was the missing component? What was the power source, and who was the operator?
This led me to the central "what if" that I explore in my sci-fi thriller, The Sentinel Project: What if the technology was never just external? What if the system required a biological key—a specific human bloodline with the right genetic memory—to be activated? In this view, the "software" for this ancient machinery is human consciousness itself.
Thank you for laying out the non-fiction case so compellingly. It's a thrill to connect with a fellow seeker who sees the same profound patterns in our forgotten history.
